I completely understand that businesses need to make a profit, but being charged over $500 for a 20-minute visit is more than what many highly skilled professionals—attorneys included—earn for their time. Before scheduling the service, I asked for a quote on both the part and labor. Unfortunately, I was told they couldn't provide that information in advance (which, in hindsight, should’ve been a red flag). I trusted the positive reviews and moved forward anyway. When the technician arrived, they spent about five minutes confirming what we already knew: that we needed a specific part. We expressed concern about the cost, and a manager offered a modest discount, which we declined. We ended up paying the $80 just to be told exactly what we had already suspected. Afterward, we contacted another company that provided the part at cost ($100) and completed the service for $135. Bottom line: if you're trying to avoid unnecessary expenses--which I think right now most people are, it’s worth calling around. I’d recommend saving yourself the service call fee and going with a company that’s more transparent from the start- one that respects your time and your wallet."

We were charged $390.00 for the diagnosis. We were not convinced by what he told us. Then, we called another HVAC contractor from different company to look at the issue. He was able to pin point the issue with the unit in 15 minutes and fixed it by refilling refrigerant at around $300! What a difference! I will never trust and use Premier HVAC Mechanical Corporation again!"
