Customers say: Super punctual

"Have used them twice now for emerging issues with our 30 year old piping system. Both times great response time, very knowledgable, skilled, engaging and above all reasonable cost. Fixed things right the first time and didnt try to oversell. Will not hesitate to call on them again But i hope not !"

"Good company. Good experience from the time I began obtaining an estimate, until the work was completed June 2016. Prices were fair and reasonable for above-builder-grade product on 2 (Carrier Performance Series) HVAC unit replacements. They were very accommodating on meeting the timeline promised. My ONLY issue was that a bit more care could have been exercised on the install... but it was hotter than Hades, making conditions brutal! I am choosing Ragsdale to continue to service our units. I give them a A-"

"Rooter Pro Plumbing GA really helped us by repairing a leak that was causing us to have huge water bills. Other plumbing companies were afraid to touch it. It was a difficult galvanized pipe repair, and they tackled it intelligently and efficiently. We were very happy with their work, and very appreciative that they were willing to do the repair."

"I would give 10 stars - the whole experience was great. We had dreaded going through the process because past experience with HVAC contractors had us conditioned to expect a lot of stress. However, TE Certified was fantastic from start to finish. The first technician who came to diagnose the problem was really good, exactly on time and very knowledgeable. He immediately recognized the issue and explained it clearly, offering several options for how to deal with it. We chose to replace the unit, and the next day the estimator came out. He was really good as well, giving helpful information and offering several options and prices that would work for us. He was also exactly on time, very friendly and not pushy at all. When the installers came to do the work, again they were exactly on time. Both installers were very friendly and professional. They worked efficiently and spent time showing us how to use the new thermostats. We were highly impressed with everyone from TE Certified and plan to stay with them for all maintenance, as well as for any other services we might need that they offer."

"Just be sure to review your work being done and assume nothing. I was originally quoted for a kitchen sink overhaul. But when I determined that all I needed was new sink clips and a disposal that quoted price stayed the same. My bad I assumed that it would be less since we were not installing a new sink basin, faucet and it s supply lines. You know that old saying....but I am happy with the end results so far."

"Jim and Jordan were both professional and honest. They worked with us on installing an interior french/foundation drain around half of our basement into an existing, outside sump pump and did not try to oversell us on adding a second sump pump (as other companies did). Their crew were all polite, efficient and hard workers and left the area clean and finished off in a professional manner. For years, every time there was sustained rain we would have water seeping into our basement. Since their installation, we have had sustained rain a number of times and the foundation drain has worked very well. No more water in the basement. I would highly recommend them."

Drain Pipe Installation questions, answered by experts

Air gaps get clogged by a few different means. Over time, food and grime can collect in the air gap, leading to a blockage. Mineral deposits from hard water are a common problem. Mineral buildup creates a film in the air gap and tubing, which can cause flow issues, as well as attract debris. Homeowners with hard water may want to remove mineral deposits regularly to keep the air gap clean and clear.

Your clothes—and your washing machine—will send you a few signals if you’re overdue for cleaning your washing machine filter. If you notice a buildup of detergent residue on your clothes, your clothes don’t dry quickly or at all, or you’re noticing lint in the machine, it’s time to clean the filter.

Bleach—even diluted bleach—is not always the safest option for cleaning your drains. With a high pH, bleach can be highly corrosive to many types of pipes, especially when used regularly. When mixed with household cleaners and organic waste, it can also create dangerous chemicals. Remember to use proper protective equipment and ventilation when dealing with bleach.

A sewage smell in your crawl space is usually from a damaged or clogged pipe leaking sewer gasses or actual sewage underneath your home, but there are some other common causes. Moisture, from poor or damaged encapsulation or a malfunctioning sump pump, can harbor mold and bacteria, causing a musty smell. Pests can also get stuck in your crawl space and die, which causes a sewage-like odor.

Clogged pipes are one of the top signs your water heater is about to fail. Potential symptoms of excess sediment buildup include not enough hot water, leaks, unusual noises, low water pressure, and discoloration or odors in the water.
