They worked efficiently and spent time showing us how to use the new thermostats. "Estes is very quick to respond to any problem and seem to have experienced and knowledgeable technicians.  However, they grossly overcharge for parts.  The control board that they charged me $477 for (and this was with a 15% service contract discount) was available online for $170.  I can understand that they are in the business to make a profit, but I consider a 200% markup to be excessive.  I will be interviewing other companies when it comes time to renew my service contract.  (By the way, during another visit I asked the technician to quote me a price to replace my thermostats...he gave me a price of $190 each...the exact same thermostat was available online at Amazon for $45...I bought from Amazon and installed it myself.)"

"Just be sure to review your work being done and assume nothing. I was originally quoted for a kitchen sink overhaul. But when I determined that all I needed was new sink clips and a disposal that quoted price stayed the same. My bad I assumed that it would be less since we were not installing a new sink basin, faucet and it s supply lines. You know that old saying....but I am happy with the end results so far."

"My interaction with Jordan Gast (and later with the owner Jim Briley) was first rate. Jordan was very knowledgeable, thorough and helpful in designing a solution. He also allowed me to pester him at several later times with questions and concerns. The work done (with the company owner actually participating in the project) was absolutely first rate. They left the site having created a beautiful addition to the yard that I believe will provide the drainage relief that was needed. The owner actually spent several hours digging under a buried rock to ensure optimal drain pipe placement; it would have been very easy to just run the pipe over the top of the rock but he insisted on getting it right. I believe that Jordan and Jim are both honest and competent in their work. I would not recommend anyone but them for work of this nature. I stated NA on the pricing question because I got no other quotes with which to compare because I was completely satisfied about using this company after our first meeting. We are 100% satisfied with the results."
