"ArborForce Tree Services took care of removing a tree for us for a very reasonable price. I called around and got several quotes, and theirs was significantly cheaper than other competitors. They got the job done in a timely manner and made sure to keep us in the loop about the job itself. Once they were done, they even called to be sure we were happy and satisfied with the completed job. Any tree service needs we have in the future, we'll definitely be giving them a call again!"

"Omar was so professional and gave me the best price after doing my research. He was the first person to come look at my tree. I wanted branches cut but he suggested to cut the pine tree which was even better. He cleaned all the branches away. I am very satisfied. I will definitely reach out if I need another tree cut"

"I called Tymberland Stump Removal on 7/27/21, they came out promptly and gave me a very fair and reasonable quote to grind two tree stumps. He came prepared to do the work then. The young man did a fantastic job. He was very polite, kind and professional. I would highly recommend him to perform any stump removal you may have. May I also add that I used them a few years ago and they are still just as great as ever!! I am a very satisfied customer."

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

Tree roots are hearty and complex systems, so they don’t die immediately after the rest of the tree is removed. If you leave the root system in place, it takes anywhere from two to seven years for it to run out of nutrients. It is worth noting, however, that the roots stop growing and expanding after cutting down the rest of the tree.

If you’re wondering why tree trunks are painted white in your area, it’s usually to prevent sunscald, a condition where extreme shifts in temperature can cause tree bark to split. Fruit trees are especially vulnerable to sunscald, so this treatment is worth considering if it’s something that affects your trees.

The best time to transplant a tree is when it is dormant. For many trees, this means either in the fall after the leaves have dropped (around October or November) or in early spring before new growth begins (around March). The ideal timing can depend on the type of tree. Deciduous trees do well when moved in early spring or fall, while evergreens are best transplanted in early spring or late summer. For example, pine trees are best moved in early fall, but maples prefer late fall. Avoid transplanting in winter, as the frozen or hard, cold soil poses a significant risk to the roots and prevents the tree from acclimating properly.

Yes, burning wood with Dutch elm disease is a safer way to dispose of it than, say, tossing it in with the rest of your yard waste, which could potentially allow it to spread to healthy trees. But it’s always a good idea to check with your local government to make sure you’re complying with any ordinances about removing diseased trees as well as burning brush piles.

The depth of tree roots depends on the species. Trees like oaks and maples can have root systems that grow down 20 feet or more. However, trees that grow in shallow soils will have roots that go only a few feet down. Research how your tree species grows in your climate area to estimate root depth.
