"I am very happy with my backyard Sod Installation that this Company completed. Austin with Outdoor Visions was extremely knowledgeable in the Landscape/Landscape design of my project which was helpful because i had no experience, and was at a loss in solving the issues with my drainage and standing water. From estimate to follow up, this Company was always very responsive, and completed the project right on time. After the sod was installed, Austin was very quick to respond to questions i had on maintaining my lawn, and if i was watering correctly. Anyone getting 5-10 estimates for their project (like I did) need not move past this Company because you will be getting what you envision, at a very fair price. Its always a good feeling too when you trust a contractor, and I will be using Outdoor visions on our future projects."

"This is my second review and second time using this contractor. This time they installed a water feature at our new home. Once again it was a fantastic job and I took his advice on the water feature he thought would look best in my area. Absolutely beautiful, I love it! I recommend them highly."

"Jeff did a great job installing a rock creek bed in our backyard to fix an erosion problem and bringing in yards of dirt and mulch by individual wheel barrow loads to level a play area. Fair price, efficient, courteous and quality work. He's also "hands on" doing the work with his crew...which was great instead of some who show up in the morning, give instructions and then leave. Will be hiring him again for our next project"

Landscapers typically charge $25 to $50 per person per hour, which equals around $50 to $100 per hour for a two-person crew. These rates can vary depending on your location, the size of staff needed for the job, and overall job type. For example, a larger crew will be needed for structural additions and hardscaping versus planting flowers.
When it comes to landscapers, licensing laws vary. Landscaping architects are required to be licensed in all 50 states, whereas traditional landscaping contractors are not typically required to hold a certification. You’ll likely be working with a landscaping contractor for most residential projects. If you are redesigning your whole yard or adding in hardscape features, you will work with a landscaping architect at some point during the project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local landscaper guidelines.
As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification which include:
The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check
Required to have applicable state and local licenses
Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review
Paying to advertise their services
Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi
Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.
