Andy is a consummate honest, professional and talented craftsman. Our front porch steps had separated from the side rails and support posts. Another words, no one was able to enter through the front of our home. Andy gave us a quote which he adhered to. The quality of his repair/replacement work was excellent and timely. Andy came and was very pleasant. He seemed to really want the job but was slow to want to start. He cancelled doing one of our jobs twice and them came out to perform it on a day that was pouring rain! That was not necessary but after cancelling twice , think he felt he must do it them. Never gave me a written quote but did give verbal on 2 of the items. First item was performed in the rain and seems to be okay. I have not seen a problem with it. I was also given a verbal quote on the 2nd job to begin in a few days. Received call from Andy stating that he had some health issues and would not be available for a few months. Adding additional comments about this pro added March 13,2017. The quality of the work that Andy was able to perform appears to be very good. I would hire Andy again for future jobs when he is available. I would recommend that Andy provide written quotes where possible.

This is the first time I have needed to use a contractor. I couldn't be home when the work was being done so Andy called me each night to let me know what he got done that day. And when the weather didn't cooperate he would call to let me know when he would be back to finish. He was honest and professional.

He willing met with us on more than one occasion to insure that all of our questions and/or concerns were addressed. He even guarantees his work and is willing to do needed repairs if the need ever arise. The privacy fence looks great. We are glad we chose A & S Construction.
