"Have worked with Coolray for years and years - always receiving great service with great attention to detail and always extremely responsive to any follow-up items. I did not give 5 stars on "price" because in my book, I would rather pay a little more for quality work that I receive from Coolray. On this job, Robert and Jason did an outstanding job in a difficult work environment. Really impressed that they went above and beyond the calls of the "contract" to move duct work into a location that simply looks better - but was not required per agreement. Really appreciate Robert and Jason for taking the "extra step" to make a good job, great. HIghly recommend Coolray and definitely Robert and Jason as your service techs."

"The day after the Christmas holiday, our appointment was promptly scheduled. Everyone, with whom, we had contact, was courteous and professional. Arrival at our home, in an immaculately maintained and well marked vehicle, at the scheduled time was prompt. A company branded face mask was worn throughout the visit. A thorough assessment of our situation was made and we agreed on next steps (replacement of home furnace). Triad provided a very good price and a complete quote for the service needed. Thanks to Caroline and Paul, who did an excellent job representing their company. We highly recommend this company and would not hesitate to call them again."

"it was such a pleasant experience working with Tony. He arrived early and go.t right to work after discussing my needs and wants. I was surprised when I went to Angi and requested for a handyman to set up rods in my closet. Several companies emailed me and only wanted to design new closet space for me, when all I wanted was a handyman. Tony was the only real handyman who contacted me. I would refer ASAP handyman to all my friends and family."

"Calvin and crew were great! He showed up when he said he was going to, he got a quote to us quickly and once we confirmed he had us in the schedule the same day. Once the job was completed he stopped out to ensure that we were happy with the work. He is a top notch contractor that you should want to hire for your next project!"

"The project was lightning rod installation. The work was custom fitted, very responsive to the owner's requests . The contractor was very helpful with suggestions and implementation of best practices. The contractor was brave & effective at considerable elevation (45-50 feet) above ground level. The end result was aesthetically attractive and the contractor was super amiable; his crew appeared to be dedicated."

Subcontractors questions, answered by experts

It is technically possible to draw your own blueprints, but the process is extremely involved and really demands help from an expert. A professional architect has an understanding of design elements, interior design, the functionality of different rooms in a home, and how everything from furniture, outlets, and light switches should be laid out to serve you and your family best. Hiring an architect for blueprints can get expensive, but it’s the most responsible way to begin a new construction project. If you’re keen on DIYing, you could consider starting the process and then having a professional take over.

Builder-grade is one of two types of stock cabinets, whereas semi-custom designs allow homeowners some control over the color, finish, or hardware on their cabinets. Stock cabinets are sold in construction-grade and builder-grade designs. Construction-grade cabinets are usually made from inexpensive medium-density fiberboard, which is prone to moisture damage, whereas builder-grade models are a step up with higher-quality materials. Construction-grade designs are the most common type of cabinets in America.

Typically, general remodeling involves architects, contractors, interior designers, electricians, plumbers, and sometimes structural engineers. Each plays a role in bringing the project from concept to completion.

Yes, new home construction will always require building permits, no matter where you live. In most cases, you’ll need a general construction permit, along with plumbing and electrical permits for the utility lines in your home. Depending on where you live, you’ll likely find that you also need permits for things like connection to a sewage system or installing exterior components, like decks, driveways, patios, and curb cutouts. Leave navigating the permits required for new home construction to a professional to ensure your home is built legally and safely.

Yes, custom designs match existing structural and aesthetic themes.
