Kennethâ s work was not bad and he did cleanup which was very impressive. He also shows up on time. The issues I had with him is his communication skills are very poor and it created a lot of stress on me. He also goes off at times and does his own thing. You also have to supervise the work daily to make sure he is following your requests. I asked for a Trey ceiling in the kitchen and bedroom and he gave me a soffit. I also wanted an arch between the kitchen and dining room and it was a total disaster. He had to do it all over with another design because he just could not install the one I wanted even after sending him the picture and he stated he could do it. Please expect to pay a high price if he has to help you out with an extra nail or screw in the wall or adding a curtain rod to a window. He did a good job with the kitchen but still having issues with the lazy Susan door and the fixtures in the bathroom fell off the wall as well as the curtain rods that he put up . There were a few more things but got some one else to come in and redo some of it. You might be lucky using him but I am neutral in recommending him.

I am extremely satisfied with the work for the budgeted price for finishing basement. The owner Kenneth Fortner was extremely professional doing his work. All his team are dedicated and punctual. I also hired them for immediate project for my concrete and handrail work also Interior changes. I will be considering them for future projects and referencing to my neighbor and friends as well.

I am totally satisfied with the basement remodeling and addition to my home. I will be using Precision Contracting & Construction Company again for future projects!

I thought long and hard before submitting this review because: 1. I was praying that Kenneth would rectify the issue and I wanted to give him the chance. 2. I support small businesses and minority-owned businesses. But here it goes. My budget was $45k to finish my basement. I found this guy on Home Advisor and I chose him because he got good reviews. That was my first mistake. He came to me, and he gave me a quote and a timeline. He started work two weeks late, and then gave me an excuse about his mother being sick. All was forgiven (second mistake). The first week of work went well but after the first payment, he disappeared again for another two weeks. Then random people started showing up at my house and most times, they just sat around because he gave them little or no instruction. This bothered me because I have a wife and kids and I did not feel comfortable with new and random contractors showing up. The project was supposed to take 3 months, but EIGHT months later my basement was not done, and he often did things wrong and had to redo. To sum it up, this guy has no problem looking in your eye and telling you a flat lie. He was never on time. You can give this guy a detailed picture of what you want to be done, and he will still get it wrong. Calling him unprofessional is a compliment. Not only did he not finish, but he also left tons of trash and cigarette butts on my property. I paid this guy every dime he asked for on time. I virtually begged him to finish the job before I finally gave up. Please do not be fooled by the reviews. He is one of those guys that will make you lose faith in mankind. Save yourself the trouble and stay far away from this company.

I was very happy with the final deck. They did a top notch job on quality. I would have like better communication and follow through prior to the start of the job. In the end, I was happy I hired them.

Precision added a closet into an existing room at our home. It wasn't a huge job but the job was big enough and they did most excellent work. The new mirrored door closet looks like it came with the room. I'll certainly hire them again for my next home improvement project.

The work was well done, the project only took 2 days longer than expected, and was exactly what was quoted. They did a very poor job of concrete dust control. They didn't hang plastic to keep it controlled or advise us to cover things. As a result there was a thick layer of dust throughout the house and it set off the smoke alarm.

This was the best overall experience with any customer service I have used. He was very precise in his work and did it in a timely matter. Very good experience!

Very professional

I'm not here to bash,but my contract was voided by the contractor several times because he could never complete this project by the finish date. Money was never an issue but being the work done was. Now he won't even answer my calls to honor his warranty. He put the wrong fuses in for my hvac unit, the siding is loose, I had to caulk the gaps in between the siding myself which was something that should have been done after the siding was put up. I could go on & on but I won't because I ultimately made the decision to use this site's suggestion to use this contractor. Never again.

As I said earlier I used them before for a 40K job so I would not have used them again if the first job was poor.

Kenneth was very professional, prompt and performed great work! His quality work far outweighed what we paid him to expand our closet, as his prices are extremely competitive. I would highly recommend using. Kenneth and we will certainly do so in the future!!!

Courteous, professional installation. Price a little higher than desired, but the quality made up for it. Also was conscious of keeping the work site clean.

They also put in a sliding glass door. Their price was very fair and work was outstanding. I will continue to use them in the future.

Excellent attitude along with impeccable job quality. Will hire again and will recommned. He kept us informed when he was running late and came by as promised. He finished the job and his quote beat the other recommended company.
