We worked with John and Dennis to add a large addition (800 sq ft) to our home. They’re a great pair to work with as Dennis does well with the numbers and budget and John is extremely communicative and responsive with us as clients. John acted as the project manager throughout and helped us navigate all the complexities that come with adding over 800sq feet to an existing home. Our addition included several rooms, a master bathroom and outdoor deck. The subcontractors were all extremely professional and did great work. No major home project goes exactly as planned/on schedule but John kept us in the loop with changes and any delays and we feel that the end result is exactly what we wanted. I’d definitely work with them again (already planning on it) and recommend them to others. They do what they say they’ll do and exhibit integrity in their work.

What I liked most about GAR/Greg is that when I told him I was on a budget. He came up with a deck plan idea on how he can build a new deck and stay within my budget. He did a great job.

I hired GAR to replace a load bearing basement wall with (4) 22 ft LVL beams. The entire project took just a few days. Every step went smooth and I'm very pleased with the end result. I would recommend using GAR for any construction project. I plan to use them again in future projects.

Kitchen remodel turned out very well, some minor changes were needed but they did everything I wanted. Enjoyed working with John.

Project is progressing very well. Still in early stages. So far very good work product. Communication, professionalism and project knowledge from project manager is excellent. Overall, a very good experience in working with GAR on my basement remodeling project. Excellent company with very good sub-contractors. Outstanding project manager on my remodel, who managed the project very well and communicated with me every step of the way.

The installer did not originally follow the plans for our custom-designed deck. Because the size of our deck didn't work well with standard designs, our salesman laid out a very attractive design that we liked. Although he had been given the plans, the lead technician, for some reason, did not follow them. Fortunately, our project manager was quickly able to correct this situation. Due to having to remove and reinstall the decking, some new decking had to be reordered. This affected our original due date, but we are so happy with the final design and its quality that that is not an issue for us. Also, once the installation Foreman understood the design, installation moved forward rapidly and we got exactly what had been planned for.

Dennis and his team did a wonderful job on my project. Despite some earlier confusion, they were able to redo the job to our satisfaction to make sure we were happy and not charge extra for all the extra work that was involved. Brian's attention to detail is amazing!!

This has been the worst experience of my life. They started a bath remodel on March 4th and they are still not done. Thankful the tile sub contractor was good, otherwise I would have been screwed. The lack of communication, incompetence, and coordination of work will leave you in micro management mode from the start. I felt like I worked for this company due to the amount of follow up I had to do to get the job done right. They don't show up on time and they have no respect for your personal things. The owner Dennis who committed to checking in on the job has been a no show for the most part since collecting his deposit. He refuses to communicate with me directly. I asked three times for a breakdown of material and labor cost. Never got anything. Out of the blue I get an invoice for overages that I never heard of or approved. This is me being nice. So much more I could share. Steer clear of this company. Trying to save a few bucks caused me much heartache.

A BIT OF A PROBLEM WITH TIME SHOW UP COORDINATION BUT GOT IT WORKED OUT.
