"Definitely would recommend Anthony, Scott and Brice for a shower insert installation. They were "all business" but very friendly. Did a great job of removing all tile from my walk-in shower and replacing with a new insert. It's beautiful. Kevin had an excellent presentation, without being pushy. Very good financing. Veteran owned. Highly recommend."
"Mr. Wilson installed a laminate countertop and backsplash recently. Mr. Wilson is professional, flexible and demonstrated extensive knowledge not only about cabinetry but interior design. I would highly recommend him."
"We are overjoyed with what a great job Matt with Legacy did on our master bathroom shower. It looks better than new! He was able to correct multiple problems caused by the original improper installation. He was prompt, professional and knowledgeable. I would recommend Legacy to anyone in need of tile or grout work."
"Moran and the crew did an excellent job in our kitchen renovation. We had to tear up part of a wall, put up drywall in another section, replace the floor, replace all cabinets and counter top, move some appliances, install a tile backsplash and build a pantry. We had worked with Moran in the past and gave us some tips to select the materials and set up the design. We had some custom features in our final design that created some issues for the installation (e.g. to level the wall cabinets and the pantry), and they came up with creative solutions to make it work. At one point we had a misunderstanding about placement of some cabinets, and they removed them and reinstalled them without extra charges and always with great attitude. The work looks great, the price was reasonable and we are very pleased with the results. We are thinking about other ideas and we'll be sure to call Vered Renovations when we are ready."
"Dul talk through my project with me over the phone. I needed to enlarge the cutout for our gas cooktop because the new one requires a slightly larger opening. Dul arrived on time and draped everything to contain dust. He got the work done in about 45 minutes, cleaned up very professionally and was on his way. I would definitely recommend him to others for installing granite or tile or making repairs, enlarging an opening, etc."
"I highly recommend Limitless Renovations. From beginning to end everyone involved was great - always highly responsive and helpful. This included Jeff Mann in Sales. Jeff took his time in helping with the tile selection and finalizing the contract. After tile selection, I worked closely with Kiki, their Production Manager. Kiki was always great with advising of schedule, answering any questions or making any requested changes. Finally, I have to rave about the installers, Eugene and Stephan. Eugene and Stephan did a wonderful job installing the tile. In addition, they were always very nice and eager to please. I love our new bathroom!"
"I was very satisfied with the installation of my granite countertops. It was a pleasure to work with Valerie. She always responded quickly to my calls and any questions that I would have concerning the entire installation."

"Norman and his crew did a GREAT job with our hardwood and tile floors. They look brand new again! I am so thankful that I found Double N Services on Angie's list. Not only are they very professional but also very friendly. Norman went out of his way to get things done so that we could list our home for sale. This is a company that you can trust with your most valuable possession!
Backsplash Installation questions, answered by experts
Yes, unfortunately, it is normal for wall and floor tiles to crack, especially when you drop heavy items on tiled floors or place heavy objects on them. Tiles are also more susceptible to cracking when ceramic tiles designed for walls are installed on floors, as these are often not strong enough to handle heavy loads from foot traffic and furniture. Similarly, tiles that are installed incorrectly, lack adequate subflooring, or have other installation problems are prone to cracking. To avoid these problems and the inevitable repair and replacement costs they bring, always hire a professional for tile work and follow best practices for installation.
To make a small bathroom look bigger, choose light-colored tiles in a medium- to large-format size. Lighter colors like white, cream, or light gray help open up a room, making it feel larger and more airy. While it may seem counterintuitive, small tiles can actually make a bathroom look smaller because the increased number of grout lines creates a busy pattern that visually shrinks the space. Instead, opt for medium- or large-format tiles for a more seamless, expansive appearance. For the best effect, pair your tiles with a matching or similarly colored grout to create a continuous surface that enhances the illusion of a larger area. Avoid dark colors, heavy patterns, and contrasting grout, as these can make the space feel more confined.
Tile floor installation usually takes about 16 hours of active work along with a couple of days of drying time between tile and grout applications.
The amount of time it takes your installer will depend on many factors, including the square footage of the space, the tile material type, and if they need to make intricate tile cuts.
It’s possible to walk on a clay tile roof, but you run the risk of breaking or cracking the tiles if you’re not careful, so it’s best not to walk on it if you can avoid it. If you or a contractor needs roof access, be sure to distribute your weight evenly and step on the portions of tile that are also supported underneath, which depends on your tile design. Walking on any roofing material is inherently dangerous, so wear rubber-soled shoes and use safety equipment if you need to access your roof.
Yes, you can tile over existing shower tiles, but it's better to remove the old tiles first for the best results. Tiling over existing tiles requires a clean, level surface and proper adhesion. If the old tiles are in good condition, you can roughen the surface to improve adhesion. However, removing the old tiles ensures a smoother, longer-lasting finish and prevents potential issues down the line.
