"To our relief, after the fireplace was inspected, all it needed was to be caulked and that took care of the draft. We thought that the gas logs needed replacing, but were told that they were fine. A good thing we had the dryer vent done - it was very full of lint."

"This company did a great job of cleaning my gas logs and resolving an issue I had with the switch. For an additional fee, they also cleaned out my dryer vent since I'm moving. What I really liked was the complimentary fire safety review of my home. As soon as I move into my new home, I will contact them to help implement the safety features they suggested for my home."

"They're super. They show up on time. If they're not going to be there on time, they call and let you know. You get the same guy every time if possible, so he knows your heating and air system and knows how it works."

"Within 24hrs of posting the need for someone to fix our gas fireplace, Laurie responded by message and phone call PLUS sent a technician out THE SAME DAY. Matt, the service tech gave me 30min notice of his arrival for our scheduled appointment time. He was punctual, friendly, informative, and professional. The fireplace works great and the company followed-up afterwards to make sure the service went smoothly and we were satisfied. We are 100% satisfied with every aspect of working with Integrated Plumbing Solutions from start to finish. We highly recommend and will use them exclusively for all our future water, sewer, gas, and plumbing repair needs. You should too! A+++"

"Yahav was the service technician that Clean Air Atlanta sent and he not only did a really great job on the work: he also saved us over $1000 by being HONEST about work our fireplace did not need, that another company had said we needed. I highly recommend this company!"

Small jobs welcome

"They came on time, I went through the various vents and returns with them, they got right to work and stayed at it until they were done. They did take me up into the attic to show me where the furnace had a place for its own filter even though there is a filter at a major return. Priced right."

Gas Logs FAQs, answered by experts

The difference between a built-in and regular grill is installation and design. A built-in grill is integrated into an outdoor kitchen or structure, often within a countertop or island. It is a permanent fixture. A regular grill is standalone, portable, or cart-mounted, allowing mobility and versatility in placement. Built-in grills are typically larger with more cooking space, while regular grills come in various sizes. Built-in grills are favored for creating a custom outdoor cooking area, while regular grills provide convenience and flexibility.

Safety precautions include proper ventilation, regular inspections for leaks, and ensuring tanks and fittings are in good condition to prevent accidental release or fire hazards.

While it’s possible to repair minor grill issues like replacing a burner, more serious issues are clear indicators that you need to replace the entire unit. A few signs that your gas grill may be at the end of its life span and it’s time to consider replacing it include:

  • Rusty or cracked firebox

  • Weak, yellow, or uneven flames

  • Flaking, cracking grates

  • Leaking or cracked propane hoses

  • Failing igniter

  • Heavy buildup of grease

You can maneuver your gas grill into place, but you cannot connect the grill to your gas source yourself. All municipalities mandate that a certified plumber carry out this work, so you’ll have to reach out to a plumber or a gas grill installation company in your area. Given how dangerous a gas leak can be, gas lines and connections are highly regulated, so you’ll need a professional’s help and a permit to install a gas grill.

Safety steps include proper vent installation, connector tightness, and leak testing. A safe environment must be maintained throughout.
