"Adam and his team did a wonderful job. They are highly skilled and take pride in being precise and accurate with all of the construction of our stairs. It turned out perfect, without him problem-solving very small issues along the way so that the job was complete on time and looked fantastic. We are so pleased that we used this company for this project. We would highly recommend."

Customers say: True professional

"I had a leak which caused water damage around a basement window and we calked several handymen and they were either no shows or showed up late which was frustrating. Cornelio called and he showed up on time and gave him the job. He arrived ready and on the job everyday at 8:30am to repair a leak. We were impressed and gave him additional work because he is very professional and knowledgeable. He is replacing the deck and pressure washing and updating the front exterior of the house (painting and replace the shutters). It is such a relief to find someone who is reliable."

Customers say: Super punctual

"It was fair. He was punctual. Had to find the screen door myself but wasn't too bad. Install was fine; he had to touch up a few things afterwards. Door still need some patch up work after install like putting weather strips in to fill a little opening and paint an area."

Small jobs welcome

"Excellent Service – Highly Recommended! I had a great experience working with Tevin. He helped move two large and heavy bookshelves to the 1st and 2nd floors with complete professionalism and care. The job was not easy, but he handled it efficiently without any damage to the furniture or the house. He was punctual, well-prepared, and very respectful throughout the process. What stood out most was his attention to detail and willingness to ensure everything was placed exactly where needed. I would definitely recommend his services to anyone looking for reliable and skilled help. Will surely reach out again for future work!"

Fire Pit Installation questions, answered by experts

Yes, you need to leave your chimney damper open when burning a creosote log so that smoke and other debris doesn’t waft into your house as it’s burning. You’ll need to make sure your damper is fully open, even when the log continues to smoke, until it’s completely out and cold.

You should never block both the top and bottom of your chimney. Proper airflow is essential because the temperature inside the chimney will still fluctuate as your house warms and cools. Moisture can build up without ventilation, leading to dampness in your walls over time. Blocking the top prevents debris and animals from entering, but the chimney still needs air circulation to avoid condensation issues. Allowing the chimney to breathe maintains the health of your home and prevents long-term damage.

Wiring a light switch wrong can cause a fire if the incorrect wiring causes arcing, meaning the current jumps uncontrolled from one conductor to another. Loose wires or worn wires that are not repaired or replaced can cause arcing. If you’re not 100% sure you can do the job safely, don’t attempt to wire a light switch on your own.

There are several maintenance tips you should take to ensure your pellet stove's safety and proper maintenance. You should vacuum the ash pan every week to prevent overflowing and clean the stove and surrounding vents every three to four months. It’s also important to get a professional inspection every year and install a carbon monoxide detector close to your stove. Be sure to dispose of hot ashes in a closed metal container; store it outside, away from the house. Only use the pellets recommended by your stove's manufacturer, and follow any cleaning and maintenance instructions.

You can safely build a fire pit on your patio as long as you use porous, fire-resistant pavers or a fire pit mat over existing pavers. Otherwise, you’ll need to have exposed ground beneath your pit. You’ll also need to make sure the location for the fire pit is far enough away from your house and any other nearby structures.
