"I hired Jimiba Remodeling to install drywall in the office portion of an outbuilding on my property. Fernando was great to work with. He procured all the materials needed, installed and mudded the drywall on one day then returned to sand and the finish the drywall a couple of days later. I was so pleased with his work that I excpanded he drywall task to include painting, LVP florring installation and moulding installation for the baseboards and door casing. "Very professional. I needed an area rug to be installed and last minute had some artwork hung in the bedroom and living room. Ameer did an excellent job. I would absolutely hire him again."

"Quality work , but pretty pricey. They charged me $411 to install an over the range microwave. I provided all the materials. They charged $40 to "haul away construction debris" they threw away the box. $11 credit card processing fee. $348 for labor, it took a little over an hour. I wish they had been more upfront with the cost since they charge a $78 appointment charge that is refunded if you agree to the job."

"Very good installation, it looks like the trim came originally on the house. Andrew was always here when he said he would be, all work was done as specified and for the amount specified. I will definitely use his service again.

Fire Pit Installation questions, answered by experts

Baking soda is an effective fire reduction method. However, flour and baking powder are very dangerous around flames. Flour is flammable and it can also conduct electricity. The combination can cause serious injury from electrical shock and worsen the situation by adding fuel to the fire. Baking powder is also not an option as it's also highly flammable.

There aren’t many problems with fire doors except that they slow down or cut off ventilation at the higher rating levels. For this reason, work with a professional to ensure you have adequate ventilation throughout your house or workspace. The sealing around a fire door is meant to allow for a specific amount of ventilation and will need regular inspections to ensure adequate airflow.

Your smoke detector might be too high in some homes or circumstances to reach yourself. If you feel unsafe getting on a ladder to replace your hardwired smoke detector, call a licensed electrician or local handyman to knock this project off your to-do list. If you have a battery-operated smoke detector, your local fire department can change the batteries or help you replace the detector—just make sure you call the non-emergency number.

In any case, do not let this project go unresolved, as it could turn into a huge safety issue.

An outlet can start a fire if it has blown a fuse, or is sparking, overheating, or smells burnt. Prevent electrical fires by unplugging the device connected to the outlet and hiring an electrician to determine and fix the outlet’s issue. If the outlet stays hot or isn't working, you should fix it.

They provide early warning, minimize property damage, and ensure safety during fire emergencies.
