"My professional did an amazing job!! He was knowledgeable and patient. He fixed my broken door knob and the light fixture came out better than I imagined. He installed my television and gave me education on how to swivel the tv in the future and how to set up the blue tooth for the surround sound. He didn’t leave until everything was perfect and it was a great pleasure to have him in our home. He is also friendly with kids even when they are asking a million questions. Book him, he does excellent work and you won’t regret it!"

"Very professional. I needed an area rug to be installed and last minute had some artwork hung in the bedroom and living room. Ameer did an excellent job. I would absolutely hire him again."

"I had some minor damage to the siding around my house. He gave me an estimate and started work on the chimney area. It turned out there was much more damage there than anticipated. Andrew kept me apprised of the situation, sending me pictures and even a video (I was at work) so I could see the issues he had uncovered. It took him 3 days to complete this job. At the end of each day he left the work area very neat and tidy. When he completed the job, it was excellent! I am so happy with the work. He will be my go-to guy whenever I need repairs done. We postponed some of the repairs I need done because of how extensive the damage was around the chimney. Andrew is very professional, courteous, dependable, and honest. I highly recommend him."

Fire Pit Installation questions, answered by experts

You can fireproof an existing door to some extent, but it's better to remove the old door and replace it with a fire-rated model. Anything dealing with extreme heat needs rigorous testing and a door you DIY fireproof will not undergo the same safety measures as a premade one. Consider a door with a rating of at least 30 minutes or more in residential areas.

Yes. It’s okay to leave a pellet stove on overnight, and these stoves can provide 24 to 48 hours of warmth from one ignition. However, you should practice proper pellet stove maintenance, like cleaning the burn pot before each use, deep cleaning the unit at least once per year, and running the fan when the stove is lit.

Yes, windows being painted shut is a fire hazard. Because windows painted shut may have locks that stick or cannot be opened easily in an emergency, this becomes an immediate fire hazard that should be dealt with.

Yes, you need to leave your chimney damper open when burning a creosote log so that smoke and other debris doesn’t waft into your house as it’s burning. You’ll need to make sure your damper is fully open, even when the log continues to smoke, until it’s completely out and cold.

Signs that your dryer is about to catch fire include a burning smell or the dryer and the clothes getting hotter than usual. If this happens, turn the dryer off immediately and call a repair professional. Another less urgent sign is that your clothes are taking longer to dry than normal. If this is the case, check the lint trap, vent, and duct to make sure they are all clean. If they are, you may need to call a pro to find the source of the issue.
