"I cannot recommend Thikka LLC and Ameer enough! He recently installed my fence and did an absolutely outstanding job. From start to finish, he was professional, hardworking, and detail-oriented. The fence looks fantastic, and it’s clear he takes great pride in his work. If you’re looking for someone reliable and committed to making sure you’re happy with the final result, Ameer at Thikka LLC is the one to call. I could not be happier with my fence—it’s exactly what I wanted, and then some!"

"I had some minor damage to the siding around my house. He gave me an estimate and started work on the chimney area. It turned out there was much more damage there than anticipated. Andrew kept me apprised of the situation, sending me pictures and even a video (I was at work) so I could see the issues he had uncovered. It took him 3 days to complete this job. At the end of each day he left the work area very neat and tidy. When he completed the job, it was excellent! I am so happy with the work. He will be my go-to guy whenever I need repairs done. We postponed some of the repairs I need done because of how extensive the damage was around the chimney. Andrew is very professional, courteous, dependable, and honest. I highly recommend him."

Fire Pit Installation questions, answered by experts

You can install your own fire door, but since it’s a safety measure in your home (and often the only way to passively slow down a fire), you should rely on professional door installers. These contractors know exactly what to do and how to do it, and in our opinion, their costs are worth every penny.

Regular and professional chimney cleaning offers several key benefits. It prevents dangerous fire hazards by removing flammable creosote buildup, improves airflow and heating efficiency, ensures the safe venting of smoke and harmful gases, and can help you stay in compliance with local safety codes.

A smoke alarm that beeps periodically, often every 30 to 60 seconds, usually indicates a low battery. The first step is to replace the battery. If this doesn't solve the problem, try resetting the alarm. However, beeping can also signal other issues, such as dust buildup in the sensors or the unit reaching the end of its life. Different beep patterns can mean different things; for example, multiple beeps might indicate an issue with a combination carbon monoxide detector, while a continuous, loud alarm means smoke has been detected. If a new battery doesn't stop the beeping, it's best to consult your alarm's manual, call a professional, or replace the unit.

Burning a single palm tree stump, if you’re careful, is technically doable DIY. However, you should always take precautions to control the fire and do research if you’re burning multiple types of trees.

Some trees, such as ornamental trees, black cherry, and some oak trees, release toxins into the air when burned that can be irritating to your lungs (or even dangerous) to breathe in.

First, it is crucial to check your local guidelines or building codes. You should typically have one smoke detector for every floor, bedroom, and kitchen. Another rule of thumb is to install one smoke detector for every 500 feet in a home. Reviewing manufacturing recommendations, especially for interconnected devices, is also a good idea to ensure proper connection and monitoring.
