"Great, problem was solved quickly and economically. When the pipes clogged I called RotoRooter first; when the service man came out they quoted me a price I knew was far too high to clean out the main pipe line. They could not find the sewer drain and wanted $400 to clear the drain through the toilet and another $450 to install a drain. That's when I called Terry Vereen - they sent someone out the next and they were able to to clear the drains through the roof vent, in addition they found the sewer line and the drain and snaked that as well for a total price of $160.00 dollars.
I was very please and plumbers that came out were friendly and professional. This is where I will go for any further needs. "

"relocated upstairs bathroom sewer drain with cold and hot water pipes. did a free estimate....came in under estimate. did an excellent job, courteous, friendly, and an excellent plumber. Checked for leaks, then refilled in the foundation. I will hire again if I have any future plumbing work. I am very picky and this was a well planned and excuted job...."

"There is nothing worse than a clogged main drain and the possibility of having to replace it. However JAX Hydro-Jetters LLC went above and beyond to send out a very professional and efficient plumber, Mr. Lopez who explained the entire process and how everything worked. He was able to bust open the clog in the drain and now we have an open and working drain again! I would highly recommend this company...professional, compassionate and very helpful. Please give them a call if you are in need of a great company who will work diligently to help! Thank you all at Jax Hydro-Jetters for a great job, well done!"

"Dave was very professional & explained everything to me that needed to be done. Had a leaky hot water pipe in the foundation that was caused by a nail from when my home was built years ago. The hole had gotten bigger over the yrs. Dave took the time to investigate the cause of the leak. Another plumber wanted to re pipe my entire home for over $3500! Dave saved me a fortune! He's honest & hardworking. I highly recommend Dave & will use him again."

French Drains questions, answered by experts

Knowing the signs can alert you to a clogged drain line. Clogs cause slow drainage or cause no drainage (if there’s a complete blockage). You may also notice foul odors, gurgling noises, water backing up in other appliances on the same line, or a poorly flushing toilet. If you experience any of these issues and think your line might be clogged, call a plumber.

The P-trap (or S-trap in older homes) under your shower is designed to prevent sewer gas from coming back up, so you shouldn’t normally experience foul odors coming from your shower drain. If you do, the vent stack that introduces air into your plumbing system may be clogged, or you may have a more severe sewer main blockage. In either case, hire a plumber to fix the issue for you.

Drain pipes carry wastewater from sinks, toilets, showers, and other fixtures to the main sewer line. They’re typically located within the walls and floors and beneath a home’s foundation. Meanwhile, sewer pipes transport collected wastewater to a septic tank or a municipal sewer system.

You should flush your AC drain line once every three months to keep it clear of debris and buildup. Keeping your AC drain line clean prevents clogs, backups, mold growth, and extra wear on your AC unit. If you live in a humid area or have several furry pets, up your cleaning schedule to once a month.

To get rid of a sewer smell in your crawl space, you’ll have to find the source of the problem. If it has to do with your sewer lines, then repairing the line will help. You may need to make other repairs, like fixing your sump pump or encapsulating your crawl space to reduce moisture. After you make the repair, depending on the issue, you may still need to clean out your crawl space to get rid of the stink.
