Small jobs welcome

"I’ve worked with many contractors over the years, and this handyman service is truly exceptional. He is always on time, works quickly, and does every job properly with incredible attention to detail. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and it’s clear he takes pride in doing things the right way the first time. Being fully licensed gave me confidence from the start, but what really stood out is that he backs his work and stands behind everything he does. His professionalism is unmatched — respectful, reliable, honest, and easy to communicate with throughout every project. On top of that, he is genuinely friendly and a pleasure to work with. Finding someone this dependable, skilled, and trustworthy is rare today. I highly recommend his services to anyone looking for high-quality work done professionally and efficiently."

"Jeff was honest and very fair priced. He was punctual and ready to work. He brought all of the supplies and materials needed for the job. He explained to me how he was going to fix my crown molding on a curved wall that someone else could not complete and then disappeared. The result is fantastic!! He repaired and repainted my wall and ceiling which had been damaged prior. He also made sure everything was clean before he left. I am currently making a list of other projects for him to fix and repair. Thank you All Trades Handyman Services!!!! Great Job! I am so happy! I have already recommended this company to my neighbor. Yes, you should hire a handyman who’s licensed, certified, and insured, if possible. States have different requirements for handyman licensing, registration, and certifications. If licensing is required in your area, you may pay more for a licensed handyman with experience than one who is not licensed or certified, but you’re likely to get a better end result for your project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local handymen guidelines.

It really depends on what you are hiring them for

Helpful?

The longevity of handyman projects in Saint Augustine relies on using coastal-rated materials, ensuring proper ventilation to reduce humidity, and applying thorough weatherproofing. Local homes often face termite activity and salt corrosion, so pest-resistant products and rust-proof fasteners are essential. Scheduling work around the rainy season and allowing extra drying time for finishes helps projects endure Saint Augustine’s climate and meet local property maintenance standards.

Helpful?

In Saint Augustine, the humid subtropical climate, frequent summer thunderstorms, and salty coastal air can accelerate deterioration of home exteriors and fixtures. Handyman service projects often require moisture-sealed finishes, stainless hardware, and UV-resistant coatings to combat sun and salt damage. Planning repairs outside hurricane season and using materials proven to withstand Saint Augustine’s unique weather helps ensure long-lasting home repairs and property maintenance.

Helpful?

For mailbox repair, keep touch-up paint rated for high UV and humidity to combat the harsh FL climate. Salt air accelerates rust and wood rot rapidly. Keep your HOA or historic district approved specifications on hand to ensure any fixes match community standards exactly. You should also store bracing materials to temporarily secure your post before a tropical storm arrives, preventing it from becoming a dangerous projectile.

Helpful?

In Saint Augustine, signs like peeling paint, warped wood, musty smells, or visible water stains indicate it’s time for handyman services. Rising energy bills, pest sightings, or loose roof shingles also suggest repairs are needed. Schedule exterior work from October to April for milder weather. After major storms or every five years, a comprehensive home assessment helps identify maintenance needs unique to Saint Augustine homes.
