"Eddie and his team completed a sanding project for me, and the results left me beyond impressed. Eddie demonstrated unparalleled skill and attention to detail throughout the sanding process. The finish was smooth, even, and professional, restoring my floors to a stunning condition that exceeded my expectations. Eddie's professionalism stood out from the very beginning. He was punctual, communicative, and ensured that I was informed at every step of the process. The transformation was nothing short of remarkable. I can't recommend TPA Hardwood Flooring Systems enough. Eddie's craftsmanship, combined with his dedication to customer satisfaction, makes this service a standout choice."

Customers say: Quick response

"Gene was very knowledgeable and professional and started and finished the work as promised. My only disappointment was that the wood was not thick enough to be sanded (not Gene's fault). In the end Gene was only able to buff and coat but they look so much better than before. I would definitely recommend this company."

"Andrew was awesome. The job ended up to be more than we anticipated, but he stuck with it and made sure floors were free of mold. Had to fix the josts replace floor base before actually reinstalling the flooring. Washed much of the flooring to ensure no mold was present. Ran a dehumidifier to dry wood out as much as possible. Reinstalled the flooring & you would never know there had been a problem. I would recommend Andrew to anyone including my family & close friends. He has been doing this type of work for over 20 yrs, so is a wealth of knowledge & willing shared so I understood exactly what the issues were. Cleaned up ever bit of the house & carport where he worked. He truly was amazing! So Blessed I hired him. Glad to know there are still such hard workers in these times when many try to rip you off with poor quality work at astronomical prices."

Small jobs welcome

"Russell & his crew (Paul & Dante) did an outstanding job on the exterior of our home & shed Russell is extremely polite, very detailed, great communicator, talented & hard working individual He has all the qualities you as a homeowner look for in hiring someone to do a project at your home I knew everyday what was going to be accomplished, who would be on our property and what time they would be arriving & expected to be leaving They cleaned up after each day’s work and worked in very hot weather, luckily the two weeks where we had no rain. The workmanship is excellent and Russell explained how he would repair/replace the exterior window sill and rusted border panels so rust would not reoccur. I highly recommend Fletcher Quality Finish and we will be hiring him to do some interior projects as well"

Floor Sanding questions, answered by experts

A boundary survey measures the boundary lines of the property, only the length of each property line and their locations. A land survey includes a more in-depth measurement of the property, including the heights and depths of the terrain measured by a topographic survey. A boundary survey is typically the most cost-effective method for marking and measuring property lines.

A land survey provides precise property boundaries, reveals legal encroachments, and identifies rights-of-way, minimizing disputes. Understanding the exact dimensions and features of the property aids in informed decision-making and safeguards the buyer's investment.

If you’re planning to dig on your property, you’ll need to check for underground utility lines. Call the national call-before-you-dig 811 number. Once connected to an operator, you can schedule a site visit to mark underground lines. This way, you won’t accidentally dig into pipes and can cause major (read: costly) issues.

There are a couple of ways you can determine the depth of your well. One method is to use a device called a well sounder. This tool has a long measuring tape containing a sensor to alert you once the end reaches the water.

Or you can DIY it by using a long tape measure with a half-filled bottle of water attached to it. Lower the tape measure into your well. Once you feel tension on the tape, you’ll know the bottle has reached your static water level. This will give you an approximate idea of your well’s depth.

Yes, new home construction will always require building permits, no matter where you live. In most cases, you’ll need a general construction permit, along with plumbing and electrical permits for the utility lines in your home. Depending on where you live, you’ll likely find that you also need permits for things like connection to a sewage system or installing exterior components, like decks, driveways, patios, and curb cutouts. Leave navigating the permits required for new home construction to a professional to ensure your home is built legally and safely.
