I have a downspout in front that was re-hung upside down that they removed when painting the wall. I had a flooded mess from the heavy rains, they came back to fix that. I was not happy. The office sent a person to collect the remainder of the money, and I said what? The ceiling to the carport and the floor was never painted! (they were both listed in the contract). So they had to come finish that. It was said to me that "this was overlooked in the contract and that they were told not to do it". I had to call and correct that. When they came to do those 2 jobs, all my paint was collected by a worker and taken with him. I had no paint to touch up anything on the house or the color of the white paint. He was not suppose to take that but he did. They had to get more paint to finish the job. There was blue paint on my white back door, they fixed that. A crew left chicken bones and bottle caps in the yard all over, my dog (who has a sensitive stomach and special diet) got a hold of all of that, I was not happy about the utter disrespect of peoples property they had. One of the crew members dumped blue paint (about a quart of paint) in the yard under one of my trees, the dog had blue paws for a few days by getting into that and therefore had blue paw prints on my white tiles in the house. By this point, I was angry! So when a man came to see everything, he just covered the blue paint on the ground with dirt. I had to make him put my house numbers and mail box back on the wall. The roof under the carport was bubbling and peeling. I asked if anybody scraped the ceiling after the pressure wash. I was assured they did. Paul (the owner) said that the roof was still leaking. I called the roofer back and he could find no water under the bubbles. I made the painter come back to scrape all the bubbles. The paint just peeled off in strips. I was there to make sure it was done right this time. After all was scraped, it was primed and painted once more. NOT ONE PROBLEM since doing it the right way. When all said and done, I am happy with the look of my house now. It was an adventure from start to finish. I felt like the crew was inexperienced in their workmanship and ethics. One member even asked me how much I paid for the job? I told him enough! It took me a few months to write this review, I was not sure I wanted to do it but, now, I want to hopefully prevent someone else from trusting people without supervising their work. We signed a contract with Paradise pools on 10/21/2015. Prior to signing the contract we asked if the pool would be completed by 06/2016. We were told by the salesperson that the pool would be completed by 6/2016. We were told that permits in the Broward county area especially the city of Miramar were taking a long time. We were ok with that as long as the project was completed by June 2016. The pool is on the smaller side. It doesn't have any fancy features. In January we called the company and asked if it was too late to request heating for the pool. We specifically asked if it would delay our construction deadline. We were told that it would not delay construction by much and that it would not affect June 2016 goal. It is now March and we still don't have a date as to when the construction of the pool will begin. I'm not even going to go into the details of the conversation I had with the company today but in general I was told that construction was delayed because we decided to add the heating. We were told that all the permits were obtained but that we now need to wait for scheduling and that scheduling is backed up. So now it's not the county's fault, it's not the client's fault but now it's scheduling's fault. My husband was told that once construction started it would be at least 12 weeks. There was a very specific reason I wanted the pool built by June 2016. I will be having surgery and recuperating at home. The last thing I wanted to deal with was construction while I'm home after surgery. My advice to any one looking to hire this company who lives in the Broward county area is to look elsewhere. The stress that this is causing me and construction hasn't even begun is just too much. If this company is like this at the beginning stages, I'm terrified of the nightmare that awaits us. While doing my research, I only saw one negative review and saw that neighbors used them. However, I have to say that one of my neighbors used a different pool company and started their pool about a month after the neighbors using paradise pools and their pool was completed about a month earlier than Paradise Pools. Unfortunately, it was too late for me and I had already signed a contract. Stay way from Paradise Pools. I will make sure to follow up with this review as construction progresses.
UPDATE:
We got a call from Paradise Pool on or about 03/11/2017 telling us that there was a cancellation and they would be able to begin excavation on 03/16/2016. We were told to turn our sprinklers off and to clear our yard. We were also told that on Monday 03/14/2016, someone would come to our house and conduct a pre-excavation survey. No one came to our house on Monday and on today, 03/15/206, we got an email at 1:00 p.m. with attachments on how to prepare for excavation day. Included in the list was to have the sprinkles cut and capped and to have a portion of our fence removed t allow for the equipment to go through. Excavation is scheduled to begin 03/16/2016 at 9:00 a.m. Paradise Pool is giving us less than 24 hours to have a portion of our fence (the portion wasn't specified so we don't even know what way they are going in. We can only assume which entrance but aren't clear as to how much of the fence to take down) and have the sprinklers "capped." We followed up with an email and were told that sprinklers only needed to be capped not cut. My fears are very much becoming a reality with this company. I continue to stand by my original review and advise people to look elsewhere when looking for a pool company.

As we had a recent addition to our family (a granddaughter), we decided to be proactive and have a pool fence installed and thus limit the baby's access to the pool once she becomes mobile in a few months.
We called Baby Guard for an estimate, and got an appointment on a day and time that was convenient to us (Saturday, January 17). Ziggy (Sigmund) arrived right on time, interviewed us to understand what we exactly wanted. Then he started taking measurements and proposed a couple of ways we could have the installation done. We were able to choose one that seemed best to us. Ziggy then pulled out all his samples to show us what the pool fence would be constructed of and how it could look. He had two suggestions on which colors would look best. After trying several combinations we found one that suited our needs best. Ziggy compiled the estimate and we were very pleasantly surprised with the cost. The next Monday we called the office to setup an appointment for the installation. The next available date that suited us best was Saturday February 6.
On February 6, Matthew arrived at the agreed upon time for the installation, and went right to work. He started measuring out where the holes should be drilled, drilled the holes, cleaned up, put the material together and installed the fence poles and mesh combination. When he was done he demonstrated how to use and operate the fence, especially the locking devices. He also left us caps to cover the holes incase we want to remove the fence (temporarily or permanently). After we inspected the finished product, we were presented with the bill, for which Matthew processed the payment immediately.
The fence came out exactly as we wanted, (and how Ziggy had told us it would). Something that blended with the surroundings.
We are so very happy with the product, and with the service.
Thank you 'Baby Guard". Great job! On May 1st 2013 Roofing by Zinkil was hired and paid to install 4 metal roofs on our 4 condo buildings consisting of 204 apartments. Mr. Zinkils crew came and tore the old shingle roofs off from the first building and put in the plywood and tar paper and then 2 months later tore the old shingle roof off from the second building, but that was where work stopped. For 4 months we called (his voice mail was full), emailed (most of which was ignored) and when we went to his office, we found it empty. It was only when we hired an attorney who sent a letter of demand that the work on the first building resumed. That building is approx. 90% completed but 3 of the 4 inspections required by the city (Versa Shield Fire Proof installation which we paid extra for), metal in progress and of course the final inspection are not done. His idea of a work crew was 2 to 4 men - we never saw more than 4. They left a complete mess on the side and back of that same building with pallets, nails, leftover equipment and general garbage. After 3 months, many attempts at contact and complete frustration we finally paid an outside crew 500 dollars to clean it up. The second building (my building) has been sitting with only wood and tar paper on it since August 13th, with not even the first inspection (the Tin Cap Inspection) done. A delivery of metal has sat in our parking lot for over 60 days - uninstalled. There were some heavy rains over the summer. We have made repeated requests for a tarp or some kind of protection for the roofs until the metal is installed and he has ignored our pleas and the attorneys demand. We have 25 units that have damage on the inside, some of that damage is quite bad - stained ceilings, 2 with holes, damaged drywall, soaked carpets, ruined wallpaper and dryers that don't work because - of course - we have no vent covers in the second building either. Incredibly the few times I was able to speak to Mr. Zinkil, he seems to think he is the victim - how or why I cannot understand. My recommendation is if you are considering hiring Roofing By Zinkil - DON'T. While trying to get our roofs done, I have learned that we are not the only ones he has done this to. Do your research. We did but we still got badly hurt. Now however the truth is out there and easier to find. Go to the BBB, check with the licensing dept. There are many, many complaints. Dave came out earky morning as soon as the weather allowed roofing work. Sealed the chimney area where the leak occurred. Prompt, courteous and reasonable, best traits in a contractor!
This was a trying experience for me. I had extenuating circumstances that made this job take forever. I had a leaking carport roof, stucco work to do, termites to get rid of and wood replacement to do before the house could be painted. John came to pick out paint colors. I didn't want...

FAQs for chimney cap service projects in Miramar, FL
Chimney caps may be installed by a few different professionals, including a chimney sweep or a mason that specializes in fireplaces and chimneys. A gas fireplace technician is the best person to install a chimney cap on a gas log fireplace vent to be sure the cap is appropriate for the application.
A chimney cap costs about $300 on average. The prices range from about $75 to $1,000, depending on the material, size, any repairs needed, and if your chimney cap requires custom fabrication. Chimney caps are usually made from galvanized steel, copper, or stainless steel. Additional costs may include hiring a chimney sweep to clean the chimney before a cap is installed.
Help reduce energy bills by helping regulate your home’s temperature
Typically, a chimney cap will last from three to 25 years. This wide range is due to variables like climate, the material the cap is made from, and how often you use your fireplace. Regular inspections and maintenance can help extend the life of your chimney cap.
The best style of chimney cap for a brick chimney is one that fits tightly around the brick top of the chimney. The cap should have a screen to fully enclose it to keep animals out. The best materials include stainless steel, copper, or aluminum that fit tightly or are custom fabricated for a perfect fit on your chimney.
