Working with Manny has been a truly wonderful experience. He is such a hard working and awesome human being. We called him our 'unicorn contractor' because after hearing so many horror stories about other contractors, we couldn't believe how amazing things flowed. Home Painting – TLBC July 2022 I just had the pleasure of having my home painted by Tomas Luis Building Contractor and would highly recommend them! The level of professionalism, their punctuality and amazing knowledge of paint and the ability to explain the differences in materials in an easy way to understand was greatly appreciated. They went above and beyond my expectations and not only delivered on the services agreed upon but also took the time to pay attention to details and were very clean. This level of service and professional contractors you can trust is very difficult to find in my area and I am very glad to have found a reliable and professional contractor. We live in Miami-Dade county, finding an English specking contractor can be an issue. I had damaged a wall and needed it fixed urgently. Tomas was amazing! Came through the next day to survey the damage and had it fixed and painted the same day! As always (I have used them for other jobs) they showed up on time, were professional, cleaned up after themselves and did a good job.

I called Manny the day we heard Hurricane Irma turned from a category 3 to a category 5 storm in the Atlantic and was bearing down on South Florida. Living in an old house with no storm protection measures and being at work with all the hardware stores swamped, I called Manny to see if he can help. He gave me a price on the phone which I approved and he showed up an hour later and didn't leave until he got the job done. This while he still had his own house to prepare prior to the storm. We ended up evacuating and i was comforted while watching the disturbing news that our house was protected. Our house held up well during the storm and I can't thank Manny enough for coming through for my family.

Manny was excellent. He showed up on time, provided a detailed description of the work that needed to take place and pointed out areas where additional work would be needed upon demolishing and exposing concealed conditions. He showed up early everyday and completed the work on schedule. Upon completion, he fixed any areas we needed touching up without hesitation. He was also in constant contact with me while i was at work providing pictures and videos of progress throughout the day. Very professional and the quality of the work was great. Would highly recommend him and will consider him for future home projects.

The requested job was done very well. Manny is very responsive, professional, and punctual. From the initial estimate to the actual work, and follow up, all went as scheduled. Juan, who did the "heavy lifting," has over 40 years of experience and does great work. In a tough industry, where it is not so easy to find good workers, these guys are a cut above.

It was a great experience working with Manny Luis and his crew. They were very professional and did a beautiful job on our flagstone stamped patio. Each day they would completely clean up the area. They do exactly what they say and arrive exactly when they say. The patio construction started on Wed. and ended on Sat. Manny is always available and polite. We felt that his price was extremely fair.

Outstanding all around!! Excellent quality work. Always on time and hard working crew. Manny went the extra mile making sure the shrubs along the wall wouldn't get disturbed, regardless that that made the work more challenging. He is very professional, respectful and true to his word. Cares very much for what he does, delivering excellent results. Not to mention excellent communication from day one! He constantly supervised the job site and made sure everything went smoothly and without delay, including the county inspections!! So to our surprise, there were no surprises, no headaches, no need to be on top of things, no extra costs....so a truly amazing experience!!!! Thanks Manny!! From the very first Contact Manny and his crew always on time and very professional. They arrived bright and early and ready to work. Work was done just as stated on my quote, there were no surprises. Work was completed on time and they did a great job cleaning up after themselves, no mess. I would highly recommend them and definitely hire them again.

We initially contacted four companies from Angie's List. We were happy that all responded and felt that we could have easily worked with any of them. The bid from Tomas Luis Building Contractors was among the highest but we felt that Manny captured the essence of the work we wanted done. We were not disappointed. We and our home were treated with the utmost respect by each employee and subcontractor. Manny's experience and vision enabled him to guide us through the process of renovating our home, and we are happier with the job than we could have imagined.
