This is the second time I have used Lyons for roofing repair and a previous roof cleaning. Their pricing is very reasonable and I’ve been really impressed by their professionalism and quality of work. They have left the work area cleaner than it was before they arrived, even blowing out the leaves from the gutters and cleaning them up from the ground. I would definitely use them for future work and highly recommend them.

Great job! Customer service was excellent with everyone that I dealt with, from Jack to Lia, John and Alex, and the workers too. Everyone was professional, courteous and very responsive. Their quality is flawless with attention to detail. Their price was competitive, not the cheapest but not the most expensive either and in the middle of my estimates. Since I was doing a full roof replacement on my house I got estimates from 5 different companies. I chose Lyons roofing because they had done roof replacements in my community including the community pool clubhouse, thus I could see the work they had done plus I knew the other customers and talked to them. Overall very satisfied with Lyons Roofing. Great job - I am a satisified customer!

We needed additional roof repair after our inspection for a pending house sale. After J&K roofing failed to find these problems and/or did not fix them back in December, when we had previous extensive repair done, we hired Lyons. Other than having to wait about 6 weeks for their very busy schedule (backed up by all the rain too), they were phenomenal. The repair men were efficient, courteous and went above and beyond by even painting our fascia for us. I would like to tell everyone, Lyon’s Roofing was worth the wait!

They did not do the work I paid for, the roof continued to leak and they wanted to charge me an additional fee to fix it. I now have to pay another roofer to fix the "repair" that Lyons Roofing did. Lyons Roofing did damage to my roof instead of repairing it.

Good job. Replaced missing tiles and filled in "mud" in areas where needed.

All work done very professionally. Workers were nice and neat. The charge for removing the plant on the estimate was $325. The estimator said they may have to remove tiles, etc. to remove the plant. The worker said, he just pulled the plant out with no effort. Therefore, I thought the $325 charge for that was a bit pricey. Very pleased with repair and work.

We've used them a couple of times. I would use them again in the future.

The work was done in a timely, professional manner. I have used Lyons Roofing before and have found them to be a company that performs according to the best standards of the industry and follows up on any deficiencies promptly. The only issue following completion of the work was three small but noticeable yellow spots showed up on an otherwise bright white finish. I contacted the factory rep, Matt Rodemeier, about this as the factory is responsible for the warranty. He declined to remedy this as he called it "asphalt bleed through" and said it would not compromise the waterproof character of the applied coating.

Jack Lyon is amazing as are his office staff!  They held our hands through the entire process, Jack called us to answer our questions and explain what he recommended and why.  They didn't try to up-sell us or convince us we needed extra things we really didn't.  Jack came to our house twice to evaluate different things we asked about including helping us determine what style tile we wanted as well as left us samples.  The roofing team did a quality job and cleaned up after themselves daily.  The only thing I wish had happened was that we were communicated to as to when they would be here working and when they would not.  End result:  roof looks amazing and we are very happy with the quality of the job!

Estimator Alex showed up on time on 7/2/2014 and gave estimated time for repair to be done as 2 to 3 weeks, weather permitting.  Crew showed up on 7/21/2014 and completed repairs except no charge repair was missed.  Company called me following morning and I informed them of missed repair.  Company owner called me back and arranged for missed repair to be done the following day.  That in fact was done.  Original work crew not only replaced rotted fascia with new painted fascia but painted adjoining fascia so everything looks great in that area on the front of our house.

When I suspected a small leak in my front eave I contacted three roofing companies - two well known local firms and Lyon's Roofing (because of their reviews here on Angie's List). Company A did not even meet with me, they just phoned in a quote and said that their price might change "depending on what they find." Company B did send a guy to actually look at the roof, but he only glanced at it from the sidewalk and gave his verbal estimate with the same caveat (depending on what I find). My contact from Lyon's Roofing was Lee. Lee not only looked at the roof eave, he walked the entire roof and went into my attic and did a full visual inspection both inside and out. He not only found the eave leak, but a second leak in a "roof return" and a rusted J-Vent which was no longer water-tight. He also pointed out that I had some cracked tiles exposing my underlayment which really should be glued back together. All of this was presented in a written, binding estimate which was very competitive in cost considering all the additional work! His contract even included a 2 year warranty, where the other company's had only been for 1 year.
Lee showed up to work exactly as scheduled and was very good about communicating his scope of work for the day, as well as anything he found that I needed to know. The work did take a day longer than planned, but that was only due to our typical afternoon rainstorms this time of the year. However, Lee also found that the lead seal on two of my flue vents were broken open on the top - allowing water to penetrate inside and down the PVC pipes. He sealed them both for me at no additional charge. On the last day when he was reinstalling the tiles, he told me he had some extra mortar and would I let him correct a set of poorly installed tiles he found on the roof from a previous repair - again at no extra charge.
From start to finish I was very impressed by this hard working man and his team. I knew nothing of Lyon's Roofing before this month, but I can not express my satisfaction and plan to recommend Lee to as many of my neighbors as I can!

First contact, and thus the first impression, is made with the office staff. They are extremely polite and professional when answering questions or scheduling an appointment.  It rained the day of my first appointment in 2007 and they called to reschedule!  From that point on, all contact has been exceptional. Jack Lyon came to give me the quote and answer all of my questions. My roof was replaced as promised, the work was beautiful and everything was done without a minute of aggravation.  Jack also suggested that I use the Roof-a-Cide every two years.  A reminder is sent  when it's time for the next application.  And as always, the technicians arrive as scheduled. This is an easy, no hassle company - they are always a pleasure to work with.

After a weekend of heavy rains, we noticed a water stain on the ceiling where in May 2011, Lyons Roofing had repaired a leak for us.  Charlie and another technician came that Monday after our service call and were prompt and very professional.  They identified the leak and proceeded to repair it.  The leak was right next to the flashing and area that had been replaced previously and since it was still under the warranty, there was no additional charge.

We have used Lyons Roofing for many years and recommend them when someone needs a roofer.
