Customers say: Quality work

"Steve Rhone, plumber, and his assistant, Josh, were simply outstanding in every way. They arrived on time after calling in advance. Steve quickly assessed the plumbing and how to clear the clog, which I had so stupidly caused by dumping sour kraut down my disposal ... a no, no, trust me. The clog was at least 50 feet into the drainage system, so he use the mother of all rotor rooters and, wale-la, it worked! It was the best $165 I've ever spent. Obviously highly recommend SPR Plumbing!!! ...and thanks Home Advisor for putting me on to them!"

"100% the best plumbers in Brevard county !After calling and dealing with over 25 plumbing companies due to a slab leak and some extra minor repairs and upgrades I wanted, I can confidently say that Gladiator Plumbing is the best. They were the only company that was completely transparent and upfront about their pricing and options, which was a huge relief after getting vague or no answers from so many others. From start to finish Ricky and his team’s professionalism was outstanding. They were always on time, communicated clearly, and took the time to answer every question I had. Which no other company did. Most importantly, they treated my property with respect and left everything clean when the work was finished. They fixed everything I needed and kept me updated and educated throughout the job. I had five different repairs completed, and the quality of their workmanship was exceptional. Their attention to detail, honesty, and pricing and craftsmanship truly set them apart."

"The plumber was very knowledgeable he worked clean and was fast. He knew just what to do and made sure the problem was corrected and there were no other plumbing issues in the remainder of the house before he left. A very present experience for what otherwise can be a nightmare. I highly recmommend Ben Franklin pluming."

Plumbing questions, answered by experts

Signs that your shower valve has gone bad include a variety of issues with water flow and temperature. Common symptoms are low water pressure, inconsistent water temperature, and dripping or leaking from the handle or showerhead when the water is off. You might also notice that the knob is difficult to turn or won't turn at all. Another key indicator of a bad diverter valve is water coming from both the tub spout and the showerhead simultaneously, or being unable to switch the water flow between the two fixtures. In advanced cases, the water may not turn on at all. These are all signs that the valve may need to be replaced.

Plumbers typically install and run gas lines. While most qualified local plumbers can handle this job, you might consider hiring a natural gas line plumber who specializes in this work. Before starting any project, it's best to check with your local utility company. They can offer recommendations for licensed plumbers who are authorized to pull permits and ensure the installation is done correctly. Regardless of who you hire, always verify that they have the proper licenses and credentials for working with gas lines.

A professional drain cleaner is a plumber or specialized drain cleaner with the necessary tools to unclog drains and tiles to keep waste water flowing out to the septic tank or city sewer for processing. Keeping wastewater from backing up into your home helps keep you and your family safe from potential contamination and sickness. These pros can help resolve nearly any drain situation in a safe and efficient manner.

Even though they’re modern-looking, easier to clean, can be hung at any height, and help save space compared to traditional toilets, wall-hung toilets have some downsides. They’re more expensive than standard toilets, sometimes by a few hundred dollars. They’re also difficult to install and may require major plumbing work to reroute the drain if the previous toilet was a floor-mount model.

This tight fit can make repairs more difficult. You’ll also have to consider where you can hang them and weight limit restrictions, so they may not be the best fit for every home.

If your plumbing is leaking, you’ll need to get it repaired right away. The average bathroom leak repair cost is $150 to $350. You shouldn’t put off repairing a leak, as it can cause water damage to your home if left untreated.
