"I'm very happy with the work done. It was an indoor concrete cutting job and they kept the place clean as they worked and cleaned up well before they left. The guys were very friendly and did top notch work."

"I found Cove concrete based on their reviews on FB. We are Owner/Builders. We needed a slab and footers finished. Juan came out promptly, listened to our concerns, executed the job on time, & within our budget. His crew worked hard & professional. We were so grateful that Juan had working relationships with the pump, Termite, & concrete companies already. Which helped us know that they are trusted among the trades. Thank you, Cove Concrete."

"Mike was professional, courteous and arrived on time. He and his crew work extremely well together and completed the project as projected. Would hire again- already inquired for a quote on an additional patio creation. Very happy with his company."

"CFS sent out a crew, a day earlier than expected...a giant plus. The 2 man crew (it was a small project), arrived and explained what they would be doing and then went straight to work. After completion of the work, the crew cleaned up the worksite area and then explained again what they had done, how long to let it cure before painting and even suggested a quality paint. Cleaning up afterwards is a giant plus. The 2 man crew were friendly, polite and professional and down to earth with their explanations. The final plus with Central Florida Stucco was that they gave me a military discount."

"Jerod (the owner) was very professional and presented a well thought out plan to address what we wanted to do. BTW, he was the ONLY contractor who mentioned protecting our yard and drive from the concrete trucks and vehicles with his plan (our biggest concern). His crew was on time, very skilled and all were professional and polite. Overall I thought the whole process went better than we expected, was fun to watch and we are enjoying our new beautiful concrete patio. We will definitely be using Brevard Concrete again and would not hesitate recommending this company to all friends and anyone needing professional concrete work performed."

Concrete Cutting questions, answered by experts

Sawing your hot tub into more manageable chunks so it can be lifted easily into a truck takes several hours. Generally, 2.5 hours for smaller hot tubs and around 4 hours for larger ones with the help of one to two people. If money isn't a concern and you want to skip the physical labor, you can hire a pro to get the job done.

Some welding projects, such as repairing pipes or fences, require travel, whereas others, like furniture repair, do not necessarily require the welder to come to you. Travel and overhead factor into the overall cost of your welding project. Some of the most common welding projects include:

  • Metal furniture repair: $35–$100

  • Pipe repair: $200–$1,000

  • Small gates: $550–$750

  • Fencing: $1,200–$1,800

  • Fabricated sheet metal welding: $750–$2,500

This all depends on the tools you have on hand and whether you’re trying to cut a straight line or shapes.

The best tool to use for straight lines is either a circular saw or table saw. When cutting shapes, a jigsaw will be the easiest and most precise tool to use.

It will likely take an experienced pro less than an hour to install a ground rod, which is another reason why letting them handle the job is such a good idea. Safety concerns aside, it would likely take you much longer to install a ground rod if you decided to take this one as a DIY job.

The average cost for a welding project is about $300, with typical costs ranging from $125 to $490. However, prices can be as low as $125 for very small jobs or exceed $1,200 for large or complex projects. Welders typically charge an hourly rate between $65 and $150, depending on their experience, and many charge a minimum fee to cover overhead and travel expenses. The total cost is influenced by several factors, including labor, the cost of materials like metal rods and shielding gas, the type of metal being welded, the project's size and complexity, and your geographic location. For a precise quote, it's best to ask a local welder for an estimate based on your specific project.
