"Beware of shipping issues with this company. Ordered an ice maker installation kit on 10/10/25. Shipping was due no later than 10/20 according to company and FedEx tracking. FedEx tracking showed the package at their facility for 8 days without moving beginning on 10/15. Called FedEx 3 times. Each time they said they cannot find package and I have to contact shipper. Shipper has to make a claim, they will not mark it as lost. Called Appliance Parts Pros twice. Each time they say FedEx has to mark package lost before they will do anything. They also state they have to wait 14 days from them before doing anything because of their contract with FedEx. I don't care about their contract, I want what was ordered and paid for. Just going in circles with them and FedEX. If they shipped after 14 days it would be 22 days from that point, 32 days from the date of order if they shipped it that day. 2008 years of experience

Appliancezone.com is a leading on-line retailer of appliance parts and accessories for do-it-yourself homeowners. Incorporated in 2008, it was started by CEO, Jim Allen and his wife Paula, who operated an appliance repair business for nearly fourteen years prior to starting the internet company Appliance Zone.

"This is the first online review I've ever written -- my experience with this company was that bad. Three aspects that deserve attention: 1) I placed an order and tried to cancel six minutes later. Turns out they don't accept cancellations. 2) I couldn't find a phone number, so I had to work the return/refund by email. The exchange was painful -- so unhelpful I felt like I was interacting with a bad chatbot. 3) I ended up eating shipping costs (expected) and got hit for a 50% restocking fee (unexpected) because I refused the package instead of paying to ship it back. Didn't matter that it went to the correct address, was clearly labeled, and had prior return authorization. So I ended up with a $21 refund on a $60 order, and a lesson learned about where not to buy appliance parts."

"Very disappointed with Jose C. Yanes Air Conditioning & Appliances Services Inc. My AC stopped working in February and Wally diagnosed a bad pump and charged for a new one. Less than a month later I had a vent leak; he came back and cleaned the drains on 3/17, for a new charge. Last week the leaks started again. I reached out to both Wally and Jose. Wally did not respond or return my calls. I spoke with Jose, who said Wally would come the next day (Wednesday 3/13) but he didn?t show. I spoke with Wally Thursday, and he claimed Jose forgot to tell him; he promised to be there that Thursday, but didn?t show. I?ve been calling since with no response. I spoke with Jose again on Friday, who said Wally was supposed to be there and would reach out, but I have received no calls or messages since. They both stopped responding to my calls and texts. This is very unprofessional and unacceptable. I?m now left dealing with ongoing leaks and poor communication. I wouldn?t recommend. "

"I purchased my Solar system from Solardirect in 2018. Dale spend considerable time with me in working towards getting an estimate and helping me understand things needed to get best value (such as reducing demand by things like heatpump water heater which paid for itself quickly AND saved me significant sizing on my system). I live in Edgewater FL around 4 houts from Sarasota where Solar Direct is and I was worried about continued service after install. Dale assured me they would stand behind things and despite other competitive estimates from local installers I felt Solardirect was the one I wanted to go with. Today, 5 years later, I am glad I made that decision. I unfortunately had 3 failures on the Solaredge inverter we used. It was covered by warranty and despite the miles Solaredge acquired equipment during supply chain issue periods and quickly and expertly installed it to get me back producing. My warranty included labor for 5 years and earlier in 2023 my inverter failed again for a 2nd time so I'm on my 3rd now. I was worried how much labor would be to come this far or if Solardirect would just supply hardware and not want to do the install. However, I was treated with urgency and the cost charged was extremely reasonable despite the vast distance. I can say definitively Solar Direct is a great company who stands behind what they sell and provide great service years after the sale. Many others I considered I think would have walked away to sell more systems once their labor warranty was up. Dale and Solardirect stand with me and continue to provide great service years after the sale. I highly recommend them for your solar needs!"

"(I'm sorry this is so long, but I want you to understand what you're dealing with before you make the same mistake we did buying from them. This is a horror story that I wish I had read beforehand). I hope to never have to deal with this Company again! We ordered all of our appliances from Setzers in Jacksonville. Viking cooktop, Viking oven, and Kitchenaid refrigerator. Not just any Kitchenaid refrigerator, top of the line 5 door, stainless steel, $3600 refrigerator. Less than 1 year in, it began to rust. We called for a Warranty check. Fields Appliance (their factory authorized service company) came out and agreed all 5 doors needed to be replaced. A month rocked on, finally we called to find out where the doors were, and were told Whirlpool (Makers of Kitchenaid) denied the claim. Citing that we lived near the coast! Well, our other appliances aren't rusting and the refrigerator doesn't sit outside! They sent us a 6 oz bottle of rust cleaner. Setzers never offered to help at all. After repeated calls we were ignored. A few months later, this refrigerator stops cooling! Called Setzers, again were told to refer it over to Fields Appliance. This was in March, 3 months out of 1 yr warranty. The refrigerant system is warranted for 5 yrs. This was also right at the beginning of Covid 19 shut down. Fields could not give us a appointment, due to shut downs. So, I called a local company to fix it out of pocket. He discovered a leak in the coolant lines, fixed the leak and replaced the coolant.( $453.61 on 4/9/20) Great, it works! About 3 weeks later, it stops cooling again. Called local service repairman out once more to see whats going on. He replaces a thermal bi metal sensor and wellahh! It works again! ($100 on 4/28/2020). About 3 weeks after that, it stops working again! We are thinking by now, it's a problem for Setzers, Whirlpool, and Fields. We call the local service repairman out to confirm and he states that the evaporator fan motor will need to be replaced, and that part replaces all sensors as well. ($59.99 5/28/2020 service call). We call Setzers and schedule an appointment with Fields. First appointment we could get was 6/16/2020. Guy comes out, and cited a factory defect, per a technical bulletin he had, and relocated a sensor. Simple as that, he assured us it was fixed! Even though I pointed out it felt no cooler when he packed his things to leave. It did nothing! In the background Setzers ( when they would call back) were supposedly working with Whirlpool to help fix the problem! Whirlpools reply was that since our repairman was not factory authorized, it completely voided our warranty! Explaining we had no choice, since Fields wouldn't come out and by now we are without a working refrigerator for 3 months, they could care less! Feeling totally frustrated, we call Fields again! On 6/19/2020, they send out another repairman. This guy came in, opened up the back, and immediately stated the refrigerant was over filled. Didn't do any diagnostics, just told us that we were F**ked, and walked away, without even putting the refrigerator back in place! Neither Fields rep hooked up a diagnostic tool to confirm any real issue, I guess they just knew! Total incompetence! So... As of now we have paid the local repairman ($448.33 on 6/26/2020) to order the evaporation fan motor and install it this coming Monday.(7/20/2020) Total amount out of pocket at this point, $1053.90. It took that long to get here! Wish us luck!"

Heavenly Heat Infrared Saunas are made for the chemically sensitive. That means that our infrared saunas create an ideal, safe, and effective detoxification environment for anyone seeking to eliminate toxic substances from their body.

"Terrible! Wish I had gone with another company. Here is the issue with Heavenly Heat. If your sauna arrives damaged or and issue arrives -- they have zero technical support. Your repairs will be done by any "joe" that heavenly heat finds to do the repair in your area. They will have no experience with Sauna's and are given no instructions regarding the chemical free aspect of these sauna's. The worst part is the buyer, me, was treated as if I was the problem for wanting my sauna repaired correctly. I would have refused the delivery had I realized I was receiving a damaged sauna and would have to spend hours and days trying to get this resolved. The owner, Bob Morgan, is extremely responsive before he has your money but after, is a different story. When inquiring about the sauna he would respond generally within 10 minutes. After you purchase, and particularly if you have a problem with it, you are treated as if you're a nuisance. My sister bought a competitors sauna around the same time and the service she received from knowledgable representatives was a world of difference from my experience. My other issue was that there were shipping delays and Bob would never communicate them. I would have to pursue him to get information. I think they make a decent sauna but I would not recommend for reasons stated above."

It depends. Use the “50% rule” to help you decide. For example, you should consider replacing the appliance if it is halfway through its lifespan and the repair will cost more than 50% of the price of a new one. Contrary to popular belief, repairing a major appliance is more wallet-friendly than purchasing a new one. While the cost of new home appliances can run as high as $8,000, the average cost to repair them is $170. If the appliance you’re trying to get rid of isn’t too old, consult a local appliance repair expert to see what can be done to restore it.

Most hot tubs use between 1,500 watts and 6,000 watts of electricity, depending on the voltage of your heater. 120-volt heaters tip toward the low end, and 240-volt heaters tip toward the high end. Expect your pump to add another 1,500 watts. Newer, energy-efficient models use less electricity, while older models use more.

Quiet dishwashers tend to drive up the price, but the amount depends on the quality and brand of the model. You can find average-price dishwashers today with quiet dBA ratings due to the advancement of dishwasher technology.

Most dishwashers are designed with a standardized width of around 24 inches and can fit into most kitchen spaces intended for dishwashers. However, the height and depth might vary slightly, requiring careful measurements to ensure a proper fit. Certain specialized or compact dishwasher models might deviate from the standard size to accommodate specific needs or non-standard spaces. While many dishwashers adhere to a typical size, measuring the available space accurately is crucial to guarantee a seamless installation.

Most appliance retailers have dedicated installation teams that can tackle the delivery and installation process simultaneously. Unfortunately, just because a retailer sells a specific appliance brand doesn’t mean that its installation technicians are certified by that manufacturer to complete the installation. You could end up with a voided warranty if the installer isn't certified, costing more money down the road. It’s best to find an installer that is certified by your appliance manufacturer, even if it means paying more or dealing with potential scheduling conflicts.
