"I put in a request to change a lightbulb that was 15 ft. high and my ladder wouldn’t reach. The technician came out and quoted me $225 for 5 minutes worth of work. This was after him trying to sell me on all these other services I had no interest in, just focus on the task at hand! I told him no and he said he would remove the $90 “trip charge” (what a ripoff and I told the representative when I called to make the appointment I would not pay any sort of fee for an estimate or trip charge). I still told him that was high and could he come down closer to $75 as that is the most I would pay for such little work. He then complained that he drove over an hour to get to my house and he can’t do it for that low of an amount, and then ended our interaction with “but please keep us in mind for any of your future electrical needs or if you have any issues”. Hahahahahha so you refused to do the work that I called you for and think I would ever call you guys again??? He literally turned down free money to do a quick job and rather make nothing, makes zero sense since he was already there! They have permanently lost my business since I know I cannot depend on them. I have used Mister Sparky in the past even though their prices were always higher than others but I finally had to draw the line with them. Their greed over a few bucks lost them a customer, terrible business decisions and everyone should be warned this is how they operate. Stay away!!"

I told him that I would get another estimate and I left him in my garage and picked my daughter up from the bus stop. when I returned, he'd changed the breaker said it fixed the problem, the cost $100. Later that evening the breaker tripped again and I called Carlos to complain about the work and that I just want a refund.He said tomorrow he would have time call the office in order for me to get a refund. I called him and they gave me a number that was immediately giving me a busy signal and then I tried calling it four times and the call never went through. I waited 30 minutes, tried again and the phone will not even connect. I feel I got swindled and I would never recommend using them ever. i left a msg through the Angi number...crickets!!!"

Duke Energy restored power to our home before Genrex came by. Mind you the Generx is supposed to perform during emergency. Now to get a service for a annual check up, to maintain warranty. Was told my last service person used superior parts. Why would they not supply quality products initially? I am very unhappy with Generx. I will not recommend Generx. In fact I will strongly advocate against this company to family and friends. "
