Confusing pricing system. Got the subscription but was expecting to have more info on the subscription emailed to me. Guy did a good job fixing what needed to be fixed though.

I called to have a lightbulb replaced that was 15 ft. high. David showed up and tried to sell me on other services other than what I called about. I told him no thank you and let's just focus on the light. He quoted me $225 for what amounted to about 5 minutes worth of work. I understand it involves a ladder but still unreasonable. He told me he would remove the $90 "trip charge" but I told him that was still too high and I wouldn't pay more than $70-$75. He went on and on about having to drive over an hour to my house and that he couldn't change the bulb for such a "low price". He then ended things by saying "well please keep us in mind for any future services you might have...", haha do you really think I'm ever going to call Mister Sparky again after that?? They turned down the job I called them for, do they think I would ever use them again after that? They literally turned down money I was going to pay them and rather make nothing. Shows their true business model and stay away!!

Set up our inquiry on Angi’s list and received a call from the Mister Sparky team within 2 minutes. They were able to have someone out for an estimate within 24 hours which was impressive on both fronts. Our technician arrived yesterday and conducted an inspection then looked at the work we needed (install a floodlight in an existing fixture installing a new light/camera combo above our garage where there was no existing fixture). Naturally the project above the garage was more expensive due to the need for running wire, drilling through the house and pulling power from another spot. The technician was really kind and explained all our options. Due to time constraints we did accept the service same day and the technician completed the work on the same service call. The install went great, the lights are perfect, the tech did a great job centering the new fixture on the front and we’re really pleased with the whole job. Transparently, if we weren’t on a time constraint we likely would have fielded other estimates as the cost was much more than we anticipated (just short of 900). We didn’t have anything to compare it to so perhaps this is the norm and our expectations were just naive. But since we had already purchased the devices separately, we just had a different idea of what this project would be.

Technician was very helpful and informative. Gave me some good advice and options for further upgrades. He was here bright and early which is so appreciated when you’re having to wait for any kind of home service.

Dave was extremely professional and friendly. Most importantly, he was very knowledgeable and gave me options to achieve the same outcome but saved me money. I recommend this company for anyone who needs electrical work. They are also affiliated with one hour HVAC and a professional and national plumbing company.

Very pleasant and professional. Did whatever I needed and made great suggestions in solving some big electrical issues. They were prompt and finished the main job in a day. I still have a few things to do but I’m sure they won’t let me down.

Received a call right away on Sunday and they sent someone first thing Monday morning. Jason arrived about 8:15, he was very professional and knowledgeable. He checked the fuse panel and several outlets. He replaced defective outlets and everything is working great. Did a good job would recommend them! Thank you!
