They provided prompt service. He fixed three ceiling lights which took about fifteen minutes in the attic. The bill was 230.00. Expensive, I thought. He was coughing and had no mask on. I am a covid survivor and can't afford to get it again. I left the room

They never responded. This happens way more often than not on Angie's List these days. Contractors see small jobs and won't even respond, even though small electrical jobs can turn into big, profitable opportunities down the road. The contractor just needs to get onto the property and see what's what. Now these guys will never get my business.

Everything was great from beginning to end. I got a fair estimate from them, they got started right away and finished in record time! They even cleaned out old debris that was in the breaker box! Professional and friendly staff!

HORRIBLE! I called and spoke with the person on the phone several times over different dates and asking whats their pricing on checking every outlet in the house. Was advised $200 dollars and it included all the parts necessary including any outlets or GFCI outlet or breaker that needs to be replaced. Was also advised that if there's any wiring issue, it will be quoted on site. On Site, their technician asked me if I knew of any trouble outlet, I showed him the ones and I explicitly ASKED him to check all. He nodded yes... Tech said he was done then I asked him did he check ALL outlet, he said NO (I knew he did not because he did NOT go in my office or Kitchen to check outlet at all) Tried to charge me extra to replace GFCI, I argued with him stating I was NOT expecting anything more than $200 he said whoever told me is WRONG! 1) He did NOT check all outlets as promised on the phone 2) tried to con me to paying extra for GFCI outlet when I clearly asked over the phone, Phone lady said NO extra charges except for any wiring issues. 3) when he left, I had called the number again, spoke with manager He said the job was NOT to check all outlet, It was a trouble shoot job. He argued with me. Bottom line, AVOID Clancy Electric at all costs! They LIE by giving good deal over the phone and CON you once they get inside the door!

Very professional and knowledgeable. Chief electrician knew exactly what he was doing and set about work in an organized manner and fixed the GFI problem I was having quickly and thoroughly. Panel is a beauty. Will use them again if needed.

Clancy Electric did a great job!! Prompt and professional! They were very thorough, from installation to clean up. My fans and chandeliers look great, so now I'm having them come back to do the bathroom lighting.

Everything went great ,Technician came to house very punctual told him what I needed done he gave me an estimate which was very reasonable & he was able to do the job there & then ,will definitely call on them again.

They were exemplary! I've never owned a generator and after their visit, I already feel like a pro. The price was agreed upon during the first visit when they came to see exactly what needed to be done. (This first visit was without charge because of being an Angie's List member.) AFTER the electrical work was done, they not only took the time to teach me how to safely hook up the generator and manipulate the circuit box, but we did a full run through to make sure I knew how to do everything COMFORTABLY and to make sure we knew for a fact what I can and can't run when the next hurricane arrives. (They even took the generator from the box and assembled the last few items for me.) The best part was that I did not have to ask. THEY wanted to make sure I was completely comfortable so if/when the next hurricane arrives, getting power back to my house will be done quickly and with ease. I will definitely hire them again for any electrical need. They go well above and beyond for their customers.

These guys were great. They came out to give me an estimate and were very helpful with ideas on what needed done. I hired them to come out on a later date and they were punctual. The job was done correctly and they removed the old wiring and replaced it with the proper gauge wiring that met code. I had the home inspected later on and it passed with no concerns. I would hire them again.

I couldn’t be happier with the service I received from Clancy Ekectric. Shaun and Jeff came out to give us an estimate and gave us suggestions for my lighting issues. And 2 days later they came back with Zak to start and complete the job. Jeff was so helpful in cleaning up after their work. I love their work done to perfection. Shaun measured out exactly where the can lights and fan would be placed. Very meticulous in their work. I would recommend them to anyone wanting a professional job done with very pleasant men. They arrived early, explained everything in detail, and completed the work to our satisfaction at a reasonable price.

Jeff and his helper arrived on time and worked very quickly. They had to make a quick trip to the warehouse for a part, but the whole job only took about two hours. They were extremely professional and even switched out the bulb in my garage light for me. I recommend them very highly. Very affordable and helpful.

Perfect! Just Perfect!

I came across this provider not thru Angie's List, but by referral. Shaun and his crew were on time, polite and courteous, and prepared to get the job done. They were able to come up with a much more cost effective solution for installing my well pump circuit than other electricians that looked at the job at hand. The work was completed in a timely manner, met all the specifications required by the well driller, and saved me a couple hundred dollars over other competitors. I was so happy with the completion of the primary job, that I asked them to replace 2 second story floodlight fixtures that I wanted changed. They graciously accommodated my request and completed the additional work at a reasonable cost. I would definitely use them for future electrical work and highly recommend them to others.

Excellent job

They were on time, started work as soon as they arrived and completed within estimated timeframe. After they had completed the job they went over the start-up and shut down process with me so when (and if) the power goes out I will know what to do. They also left a sheet of directions to start Up and shut down that I can keep next to the breaker box. Very customer friendly and very knowledgeable. I would hire them again in a minute!!

Sent messages to three, Angie's list highly rated electricians. Quickly received replies from two of them. The third did not reply at all. Decided to use Clancy Electric because they were the first to respond and they gave me a firm price, while the other company only provide a "rough estimate". I then called Clancy and they were able to schedule the job for the same day. The electrician, Jeff, and his assistant, I think his name was Zach (sorry if this is wrong - I'm terrible at remembering names) arrived later that afternoon. After checking the main panel and the location for the two switches, they both got right to work. The surge suppressor was installed and I was asked to look at the work to see if I was satisfied. Jeff also inspected the work. The two switches took a little longer; although one was a single pole switch, the second was a three-way which required some more complicated wiring. Jeff completed attaching the switches and tested them to make sure that both worked, before securing them in the switch box and replacing the cover plate. Again I was asked if I was satisfied with the work, which I was. Jeff then cleaned up the drywall dust and scraps that had fallen from the switch box opening. I found both men to be careful and conscientious workers. They were friendly, professional and made sure that I was happy with their work prior to presenting the bill. I would highly recommend Clancy Electric and will definitely use them again if I need any electrical work done.
