"We initially went to their showroom location and spoke with the owner Zsolt Kuntarics. An appointment was made for him to provide measurements and a cost estimate. He arrived on time for taking the measurements and providing us an estimate of cost. We accepted the estimate and he prepared templates of the existing countertops. He ordered the product just before a major holiday. When the product slabs arrived, it was fabricated based on the templates. When the fabrication was completed, we were contacted for a one day installation. The installation included the removal and disposal of the old countertops. All of the countertop pieces were leveled and adhesive was used to secure them. I believe the actual time of the installation took about 4-6 hours. All debris was cleaned up and final payment was made before the install staff departed. Having had Silestone countertops in a prior location made the choice of the same product very easy. Zsolt and all of the staff were great. And yes, I would definitely use them again as well as to continue to refer them to others. Other contractors have been in our house and have noticed the superb work that was done. They did a really great job. "
"I had used D&D a year and a half ago to replace several windows and doors, and was very happy with the experience. I had 2 more windows that needed "Dade County approved" protection to qualify for discounts on my outrageously priced homeowners insurance renewal. Although this was not a big job, they treated me like a million bucks. The price may look a bit high, but they had to remove old aluminum awnings and cut/chip off rock to provide a flat surface for the tracks. Both of my experiences with D&D have been excellent - it's so refreshing to find contractors that are reliable, professional and provide great service and quality, When I have the money to replace the rest of my windows with impacts, i will definitely be using them "
"Our wood floors have never looked better, and everything is because of the exquisite service of Martinez Wood Floors. When we called them to ask for an estimate, we were frustrated because we had already asked for several quotes and they were either very expensive or you could tell the contractor had no experience. But, when we talked to Mr. Martinez in person we knew that we had found the right person for the job. They sent out the estimate with the numbers that same day in the afternoon and began work two days after. Polite and honest employees, so you won't have to worry about who is working in your house. The owner always answered our calls and was very constant explaining every step of the process. When they were doing the bedrooms, they found that the basement floor was rotten, so we had to replace that whole room with new wood. They provided the wood floors for us at a great price, so they are also good on that. After approximately a week of work, everything was finished and omg, what a change. I never thought that the floors were going to come out that good; they did magic. Very much recommended for future hardwood flooring projects. Oh and they even left me a courtesy cleaning kit. They are the best!"

"When we decided to redo our kitchen in April of 2012, we knew what we wanted fixed, our budget and that's about it. We started talking to contractors, kitchen design centers and researching ideas. We quickly realized we were in WAY over our heads. A lot of places offer free design services if you buy all of your materials through them. We didn't want to be tied down. We didn't want a complete tear down to the studs, either. Homemade Design to the rescue! First of all the price was an absolute steal for the service provided. Amanda and co. Listened to what we wanted and came up with inovative,functional and beautiful solutions. Our house is old. We wanted to keep that 1920s feel, but still have a dishwasher, granite countertops and stainless appliances! Amanda had the brilliant idea of only replacing the bottom cabinets. She also gave me excellent instructions on how to refinish my existing cabinets so they look like new. This was a perfect solution for US. Homemade Design gave us ideas for layout, cabinets, lighting, wall paint, appliances, furniture, countertops, backsplash, faucets, sink,and cusions for built in. She would have recommended flooring if we wanted,but we didn't. Now, Amanda is more like a consultant...( I actually called her my kitchen remodel therapist). You still are ultimately responsible for the plan and what works for you. If your measurements are off (like mine were) that's on you. I was adament about no island and no microwave over the stove and so she didn't put those in the design. Some suggestions were not my style. And I said so. Honestly, if I picked out my own kitchen it would be so safe: white subway tile or something. Amanda gave me the guts to mix patterns and create something spectacular! It took almost a year to complete ( contractors fault) We did a lot of work ourselves. We bought the cabinets, backsplash tile, light fixtures, table and banquette cusions through Homemade Design at a great discount, we checked!! If you try shopping for any part of your kitchen, the volume of choices can be overwhelming. We loved having Amanda narrow it down for us. Communication was through email, mostly. She never took longer than three business days to respond to my million questions or concerns. Awesome. 5 months later, my kitchen is a dream come true. And I owe it all to Homemade Design! "
