The leak was due to the excessive rain which elevated the water table supporting the foundation. He wanted immediate payment w credit card, which I gave him somewhat reluctantly. It was a big sum considering the short time spent and the fact that another workman figured out the problem. If I could do it all over again, I would have called DCR Restoration instead.
