"I was planning to rent a shop and looked for a plumber online. He replied very quickly, which reassured me. I scheduled an appointment for him to come to the shop to inspect the pipes, including the hot water system. He was very thorough and answered many of my questions. "The leak was not from a pipe as he was focused on. He did show me a pipe in the ceiling. (Not the problem). The leak was due to the excessive rain which elevated the water table supporting the foundation. He wanted immediate payment w credit card, which I gave him somewhat reluctantly. It was a big sum considering the short time spent and the fact that another workman figured out the problem. If I could do it all over again, I would have called DCR Restoration instead.
