"We needed our sewer line replaced. The estimate we received from the company we had been using was astronomically high. I called a few places and Pipedex promptly returned my call. They came out the day after Christmas, when their office was still closed for the holidays. My husband is in a wheelchair, so digging up our floors was not an option. They were able to reroute the sewer line and replace all our plumbing for 1/3 the price of our old corporate plumbing company. Aleks, Serge, Junior, Dalton and Ivan are masters at what they do. They were all courteous and respectful of our home. They finished on budget and we couldn’t be more appreciative."
"The problem was there was no water, hot or cold, coming out of the shower. .Aztec plumbing called me back quickly and sent a plumber out the next day. He arrived on time, got right to work and diagnosed the problem quickly. He replaced the shower controller cartridge and all works fine now. He was here 45 minutes and the cost was $277, which was a typical cost from a plumbing company. I would hire from this company again.."
"Very pleased with Pipedex for hot water heater installation. Technician Sergey was excellent. Professional and on time. One of my neighbors hired them based on my recommendation."
" Our pool was needing water added a lot. Being new to FL I didn't know any better. Our pool service told us to check it out because it seemed to be an unusual amount. We called American Leak detection. They found a leak in the piping of the pool which was costing us a lot in water loss . They found it, dug it up and fixed it and everything went well. not a problem since. I was extremely happy with their work and the guys who came out. they were on time. courteous, and knew what they were doing. You cannot tell where they took up the lanai brick to access the pipe. I did call them again in Nov for an unrelated problem and they solved it in 15min. I won't say they were cheap, but they were reasonable and knew what they were doing and didn't try to run up the cost. I feel I got good value for my money and peace of mind knowing the job was done right. My experience was wonderful and I highly recommend them."

"The company contacted very quickly and scheduled an appointment to survey and give me an estimate. The plumber technician arrived as scheduled and immediately scheduled me for the next morning. The old unit was removed without incident as was the new unit installation. Mike was courteous and approachable and extremely knowledgeable. He kept me informed of the steps in the work process. I would highly recommend Benjamin Franklin Plumbing."
"Chris and Long Baths did good work for my family. The plumbing from our previous shower was very messed up but Long worked with me to find a proper solution and we are very happy with the end result."
High summer temperatures in Arcadia cause significant thermal expansion, stressing above-ground pipes and joints. Brief winter freezes lead to burst pipes in older homes lacking proper insulation. Heavy annual rainfall and high groundwater levels destabilize trenches during underground plumbing installations. Year-round high humidity guarantees that even minor leaks generate rapid mold growth inside wall cavities, making prompt leak detection and repair absolutely essential.

Modifying your plumbing directly stresses a private septic system by altering water volume. Pressure changes affect irrigation setups and water softeners tied to the same supply line. In FL, HVAC condensate lines tie into household drains, meaning improper venting causes immediate condensate backups. Always verify if your property sits in a flood zone, as below-grade work must meet specific flood-resistant construction standards.

Confirm whether your property uses municipal water or a private well and septic system before starting any plumbing work. Request a water quality test to select the best pipe materials for hard water. Schedule underground excavation during the dry season to avoid waterlogged soil. Contact local authorities early to verify permit requirements and build extra buffer time into your schedule for required inspections in FL.
Helpful?
Slow drains and reduced water pressure in Arcadia indicate severe mineral buildup from local hard water. Rust-colored water signals degrading pipes in older homes. A persistent wet spot on your floor points to a slab leak, which causes rapid foundation damage and mold growth. Address faint sulfur smells immediately, as this indicates accelerated pipe corrosion that requires extensive plumbing repairs.

Homeowners underestimate the time required to secure permits for plumbing projects in Arcadia. Adding new fixtures overloads existing septic drain fields, requiring capacity evaluations. Hard groundwater accelerates wear on new materials, making water treatment integration essential. Saturated soil during the summer wet season heavily complicates excavation work. Schedule licensed contractors well in advance, as local availability remains limited throughout the year.
