"Contacted via Angie List - responded in two hours. Provided quote; declined quote, although quote suggested should be clear alternative quotes included the water heater. Then discovered the alternative supplier quote did not included the water heater; called cell - Tim came same day installed heater as quoted; in additional make improvements using all copper. Also at same time installed new water line entry bid from county system - quoted cost and reasonable as already on site. Recommended without hesitation."

"Robert came when scheduled, immediately completed a few jobs on my list and returned when scheduled to finish the additional projects once our quartz top was installed. He was very knowledgeable and I would highly recommend Aztec and will personally use them again."

"

I called and the company was able to send a representative the next day.  Everything went as planned and the leak was located and the overall pool was checked for any other problems.  Fortunately there were none.  The service was fast and professional.  We were extremely pleased with the outcome.  We would highly recommend this company to others.

Sump Pump Installation questions, answered by experts

A sump pump should be placed at least three feet deep in a pit. The rim of the sump pump basin should be level with your basement floor. If you find your pit is too deep, you can fill the bottom with gravel until the rim of the sump pump is flush with the floor.

Test regularly, clean the pump, and inspect the discharge line to ensure efficient operation.

Inspect the pump annually, test the float switch, and clean the discharge line to ensure efficient operation.

Yes, a well-maintained sump pump can increase a home's value and make it more desirable to potential buyers; it does not lower property value. By protecting the basement from flooding and water damage, a sump pump provides peace of mind and can make the space usable for storage or as an extra room. For buyers interested in homes with basements, a working sump pump is a significant feature that adds value by ensuring the space is secure and less likely to flood.

You should be fine. Most high-grade grinder pumps have a 24-hour holding capacity within the tank. You can continue to use the facilities so long as the power outage does not stretch into days. In a worst-case scenario, attach a generator to the grinder pump, providing it has sufficient electric capacity.
