"Extremely Disappointed – Unprofessional and Unreliable Service I don’t usually leave reviews, but after my experience with this electrical company, I feel it’s necessary to warn others. From the start, working with this contractor has been nothing but frustrating and disappointing. This company was hired as a subcontractor during the construction of my new home. One of the tasks was to terminate several Cat5 cables—a simple, straightforward job that should’ve been completed without issue. When they sent an electrician out in December, he managed to complete two of the cable terminations but said he needed help accessing the remaining cables. Instead of following through, the company avoided responsibility and continuously made excuses, claiming the job was “outside their scope” despite already starting the work. At no point was it communicated to me that terminating the remaining cables would be my responsibility. In fact, the same company completed other terminations throughout the house without issue. What’s worse is that after waiting months for a resolution, I—someone with no electrical experience—was able to locate and make the cables accessible myself. If I could manage that, there’s no reason a professional couldn’t have done the same. On top of all this, I was given two completely different price quotes for the same job. Initially, I was told the first hour would be waived and subsequent hours would be billed at a fair rate. Later, that rate increased without explanation. When I asked about the conflicting quotes, instead of providing clarity, the contractor refused to continue the work altogether. Let me be clear: This issue was never the homeowner’s responsibility—it was a clear lack of communication, follow-through, and professionalism on their part. If you’re considering hiring this company, think twice. They’ve shown a complete disregard for their responsibilities and zero concern for customer satisfaction. I would not recommend them to anyone."

We will do most anything when it comes to residential houses, my employees or I will come to your house in a timely manner, we will be polite and treat you and your house with respect. All American Electrical is licensed #ER13014290, insured, bonded. We do not use subcontractors to do our work, we handle all of our work in house. Prices may vary. Trip charges can range from $70.00 to $110.00 dollars some companies will charge you an outrageous trip charge and only be there a few minutes, that's why there is a price range for trip charges. If we are not there that long I will not charge you that much. Panel change outs, and various other services we will offer you a free quote. And we offer 10% discounts for Angie's List members, or military. We offer an additional discounts for anything that involves your home in the process of going green! We also offer whole house surge suppressors, that will protect you entire house. This product offers a $25,000 warranty. In most cases with installation and product it's only $168.00. I have one in my house I've never had lighting burn up anything in my house. Was told for an upfront payment, a technician would arrive within 48 hours. Technician did not come. After repeated calls. I was told because of an over abundance of calls I was pushed back a week. Duke Energy restored power to our home before Genrex came by. Mind you the Generx is supposed to perform during emergency. Now to get a service for a annual check up, to maintain warranty. Was told my last service person used superior parts. Why would they not supply quality products initially? I am very unhappy with Generx. I will not recommend Generx. In fact I will strongly advocate against this company to family and friends. "
