Drain Line Breakage - Camera Locate
$12,000
Do not hire this company. They are not honest. They will use manipulation and aggressive tactics to get you into debt. They transact only through phone to get you to sign for what you can't sea and can't afford. They collected $12000 from me just to replace surface pipes. They have no estimated documents to support what I paid for. All they want is your money. See here what they collected $12000 for.

Please do not hire Lickety Split A/C, Plumbing, Electric. They are taking advantage of people and no one is investigating them or stopping them. They use aggressive and manipulative tactics to get people into signing for what they can't see . They collected $12000 from me just to replace surface piping. They are not honest. See the pipes that they replaced for $12000, and there is no estimated documents to show how they arrived at $12000

Stay away! Charged in full for unperformed service. Also called multiple times requesting a refund and was told it would be taken care of twice, but weeks later and still no refund.

Most unpleasant experience ever. If I could rate them a zero, I would. New ac unit installed and the humidity we now have is unbearable. I?ve been trying for a month now to get it fixed. The salesman Patrick avoids us and doesn?t return our calls or numerous messages that have been left. Undependable, no integrity, no regard, no respect, I could go on and on. Would NEVER recommend this company

I called just to have a toilet switched out. I already bought the toilet and have it at my house. I paid $289 up front and I was very clear that I was interested in a toilet install. Not sure what happened but I didn?t understand that I was only being signed up for a plan and that I would also be charged another $605 JUST to install a new toilet. The tech advised me that he regularly gets to a job and has to explain this to customers. Bait and switch!!! Used another company.

It?s not the work that is a problem, it?s their communication. Coming from the techs own mouth, ?they don?t tell us anything when it comes to schedule or times for our customers.? You?ll be lucky to even have someone show up. Currently, we were supposed to have a tech come out 12-5 because our ac is broken, it is now 10 pm and never heard a word.

$9,300
Replaced wire to well pump, also installed generator control switch on main panel. Total charge fr this was an astounding $9,300.00!!!!!. Sounds crazy, but true. Be very careful what you sign - complete financial rip off. Their answer? "Well, you signed the order." Two men worked about 4 hours total and installed 150 ft of wire for $9000.00 ! ! !

Called for a service explained my issue paid $287 just for them to show up. Upon arrival stated it would be another $855 to diagnose the problem. They work by the job not the hour supposedly I had no lights in my building and employees who needed to work. I was left with no choice but to have them continue since I already paid the $287. Ended up being a breaker being tripped in a breaker box I was not aware of. So $1000 later they just flipped the switch and all was working. They were there less than 1.5 hours. Half the time I did not know where the tech even was. Talk about price gouging I will never use or recommend this company! If I could give no stars I would!

Paid $169.00 by phone for service call. , I advised the service responder that I needed a quote for any work or repairs that would be done before initiated. Did not receive. He was in my 868 sq. ft. home for 10-15 minutes. the city electric service company, Okefenokee Electrical Company, arrived. They spoke to the service man and let him know that the outage at my residence needed to be repaired by them, that there was no need for him to be there. I was then charged $295.00! For NOTHING! BAD COMPANY ! BEWARE!

Absolutely predatory and unethical I contacted Lickety Split for a basic HVAC tune-up and thermostat installation. I was upfront about needing my own thermostat installed, and they didn?t tell me until after they charged me that I had to use their thermostat?for over $300. I reluctantly agreed, only to be told shortly after that my ducts were in such bad shape I ?couldn?t go another week? without replacing them?at a cost of over $20,000 for a home under 1,100 sq ft. After I said no, they "did me a favor" and dropped it to $16k. I still refused. Then they pressured me again, telling me $13k was ?the best they could do.? At this point, they had me sign documents on a tablet while reading them to me, not allowing me to actually review the terms myself. They then pushed me to get financing for $15k?even though the invoice showed $13k?and took the full $15k. As a single mother with a toddler who has an autoimmune disorder, they used fear tactics to corner me into thinking I had no choic

Avoid Lickety Split ? Misleading and Aggressive Sales Tactics! What started as a routine AC check turned into a high-pressure sales pitch for a $20,000 duct replacement?based on unverified health scare tactics. The tech claimed dangerous bacteria without testing and pushed costly services with no itemized pricing. We reluctantly agreed to begin work, but quickly paused after realizing the so-called ?hazards? were minor mildew. Multiple licensed HVAC pros later confirmed the work was unnecessary and overpriced. We?ve since found many similar complaints and a BBB warning about this company. Beware of fear-based upselling and get a second opinion before committing. We regret trusting Lickety Split.

I own multiple rental properties and work with many contractors?this has been the worst experience I?ve ever had. On a Friday night, HVAC failed in a rental. Keenan diagnosed dampers and promised a 9?a.m. Saturday fix so confidently I canceled my trusted team (Donovan). Saturday was a nightmare: 5+ calls, each confirming we were on the schedule. Then at 5:30?p.m. it turned out no work order existed. I?d paid the $1,415 quote and had someone paid $40/hr waiting all day. Kevin, the project manager, admitted the failure. A crew finally showed up at 8?p.m.?no 45-minute notice as promised. Sunday, I was told Manager Lauren would call?she never did. Monday morning, another tech arrived unannounced to ?finish? the job. That made three guest disruptions with zero communication. $1,600+ spent $400+ in waiting fees Four days of stress and rental disturbances No one took responsibility. Every department was uncoordinated. This level of disorganization, dishonesty, and disregard for customers

Had a bittersweet experience with Lickety Split. Scheduling was easy and they were quick to return missed calls. The sweet part: technicians Max and Jordan were fantastic ? friendly, detailed, and professional. 5 stars for them. The bitter part: I used a $69 coupon for water heater draining, but due to buildup, a valve replacement was needed. I was quoted $337 for the part and ended up paying $406 total. Later, I found the part retails for around $35 ? nearly a 10x markup. When I called to ask about pricing, I was told it?s an ?all-inclusive? rate for same-day service, even though the techs were already there. This isn?t a retaliatory review, just honest feedback. I value good service, but the pricing felt excessive. As someone looking to build a long-term relationship for home services, this experience left me wanting to shop around next time.

Very aggressive sales people and very aggressive pricing. These people are dishonest..I strongly recommend you stay away from them. Amongst other things they offered to change a capacitor on my ac unit for a large sum off money. Tech had the part in his truck! Thing is there is no capacitor on this motor. Disgusting reprehensible company. They lie, cheat and steal.

Would give 0 stars if possible. On 4/3, our AC stopped blowing cold air. After reaching out to several companies, Lickety Split was the only one available to come the next day for $189, which they promised would guarantee us 10% off future services. The tech determined the capacitor was fried and replaced it, but mentioned we?d need another visit to investigate why it failed. They charged $391 on 4/7 to hold the 4/29 appointment, but when we asked about the discount, they admitted they overcharged us and promised a refund in 7-10 business days (still hasn?t happened as of 5/16). On 4/29, they claimed moisture and bacteria in our attic were caused by high static pressure, and quoted $20,000 to fix it. They pressured us to leave a 5-star review and sign the contract immediately. After second and third opinions, we learned there was no bacteria, the pressure was fine, and the capacitor was the wrong size. Lickety Split hasn?t refunded us or addressed the scam. Be cautious?this company ha

I responded to their advertisement for $49 Spring system check. That appointment went fine so I decided to go ahead and purchase a 1 yr. maintenance agreement for 2 checks - fall and spring - for $189. When I purchased the 1 yr. agreement, I was told I could cancel it at any time and be refunded for any unused services. I used the fall appointment when I noticed a strange noise in the compressor fan. They came out, said, 'yup, it's noisy and here are 3 options of what we can do for you.' The 'options' were one liners on a tablet with not detail and nothing they could print and hand me to read and consider. When I asked for it in writing I was told they would email it. Several days later I called to ask where the email was and they sent me a screen shot of the tablet -- NO DETAIL!!!! After that they called repeatedly to schedule the 'spring' service in October- January. When I said no, it's not Spring and asked for a refund they refused. They are liars and thieves in my opinion.

On Wednesday 3/26/25 a service tech came to my house, her name was Tierra. Once she arrived she pulled straight into my front yard on the grass, leaving ruts and tire marks all over the sod I had recently gotten. She then proceed to take 90 minutes on my HVAC unit and indicated I had a leak and bad capacitor. She originally asked for $1,495 for it. I told them I would pay $700 so they did that and performed a leak test. They said they found a leak in the evaporator coil in my inside unit. I told them my unit was only 6 years old so the odds there was a leak was pretty slim. They quoted me $4k for a new one and I told them there was no way I was paying that. So they left. I just had a feeling that what they told me wasn?t truthful, so I had 3 other companies come out (which cost even more) to do checks and nobody found any leaks. So needless to say after giving them over $50k in past services I will never use them again. That was completely deceptive on the part of the tech. I?ve never

Worst service I have ever received. We paid ahead and set an appointment to have the kitchen sink unclogged. They were supposed to call or text before arriving and did not. Once they arrived they insisted that it was unsafe for them to do the service we had paid for and said that for triple the price they could fix the issue via the roof vents. We declined, and asked for a refund. That was the beginning of December and the service was never refunded. So we paid to have a couple guys stand in the kitchen for 5 minutes. We were able to get in a reputable company and they did the ? unsafe? unclogging in no time at all. They were worth the money and will receive a sterling review. I wouldn?t recommend this company to a person I hated, just because they took our money and never refunded us for the service that was not done.

I would give zero stars if able. Seems as if they just found a new term ?pressure differential? and if they repeated it enough they would get me to purchase excessive services that are not needed. My rental property with a ?high? pressure differential of .40 and the fix is to re-duct my house. Same ducting since the house was built in 2013. Then the technician stated my refrigerant was low so I asked him, ?How low is my refrigerant?? ?Oh, a couple ounces? was his answer! Needless to say I will not be calling these cheats for anything, unless I am looking to open a business on how to scare the non-informed public and scare/cheat them out of money. Save your money and call a reputable HVAC company, not these cheats.

I truly could not have imagined a worse experience than the one I had with Lickety Split. Their crew botched the replacement of my septic system twice and damaged the foundation of my house in the process. They also busted my waterline without realizing it and left the job site with water pouring into my yard. Had I not been there to shut the water off at the main shut off my entire yard and house would have flooded. Fast forward ten months later and Lickety Split has still not repaired the damage to my staircase despite many empty promises being made. My intention in writing this review is to save somebody else from the nightmare l have been through. Please, don't use this company.

We have had the worst experience possible with an HVAC company. We purchased a new unit less than six months ago and experienced several issues from the beginning. Now, the heater does not work. Submitted a service call at 7:45 am and still no service 12 hours later. PLEASE do your research before purchasing new or requesting service from Lickety Split.

Our experience was deeply disappointing. They insisted we replace all AC ductwork due to low static pressure without offering alternative solutions, though viable options existed. Multiple technicians revisited to fix mistakes, and we received inconsistent and contradictory information, showcasing a lack of expertise. Had we not been vigilant, these issues would have gone unaddressed. The same salesperson, lacking authority or technical training, was sent to address our concerns and repeatedly called his boss, Kevin Cairo, who was unprofessional and dismissive. Kevin blamed issues on contractors and claimed mold was present in our attic, a concern never raised before. A reputable company should have flagged such issues immediately for mitigation. Instead, Kevin demanded payment, threatening a lien on our home. This felt unprofessional and dismissive of our complaints. They failed in every way, from upselling unnecessary work and incomplete service to poor communication and unprofessional.

I called Lickety Split to find out what was happening with my backed up plumbing. First off they wanted $99 to come out & assess the problem, which charged my card immediately. I was told they would be out between 4pm to 8pm. By 10pm they were still a no show. I called and was told to keep waiting that they would be by sometime that night. By that time it was getting pretty late & asked them to just refund my money back to my card I will find a different company. I hired another company they were there first thing the next morning. I am writing this review because I have yet to receive my refund after 5 weeks. This is insane!!! They charged my card within seconds of calling them, but I am apparently on a waiting list for refunds. Ridiculous!

SCAM! We chose this company because it came up on top search with 5 stars, we had a broken pipe and needed a quote. Well, we had to pay up front on the phone $187 just for someone to come out. And none of that cost goes toward the cost of the repair. They ask you to give them a 5 star review on the service call when you schedule the appointment, so you think you are rating that person you are talking to. The technician got to our home at the latest time of the appt (5p-9p) around 9pm, took him 15 minutes to look at it and gave us 3 different quotes at about $3000 with some type of “3 year warranty”….the lowest was $2000 with a “1 year warranty”. That made no sense, how about “no warranty”?! Warranty for what?! After that nonsense, called around to other places and Roto-Rooters came out at 11pm FREE of charge to look at it and fixed the problem for $250. Lickety Split did absolutely NOTHING but take $187 from us! For $60 more we had the issue fixed by midnight by Roto-Rooters.
