"I bought a new fan with a light kit. The technician replaced the old fan with the new one. When the new fan did not work he discovered that the switch was burned out.He replaced the switch and I am happy to have a working fan and ceiling light. The tech did not verify that the fan was defective but relied on the customer opinion thereby replacing a perfically good fan. A properly trained tech would have found that the fan was good and the switch was bad saving me the cost of a new fan."
