Two electricians arrived and promptly found and repaired problem. Very friendly, yet professional.In and out of house within 30 minutes. And the cost was much lower than expected. Absolutely would use this company again if needed.

They fixed it and explained the problem to me. They also explained that due to safety codes these must be on the ceiling or close to it. When I complained about an old lady and ladders, they offered to replace batteries in the other two detectors in the house. Vinny and Beavis were very competent and helpful. If I could give an A+ I would do so. The charge was the basic service call and well worth it.

Quick responsive service from time I called. Had three different contractors in the house on Tuesday, appreciate getting in and out while doing the job. Took time to point out some details we overlooked, like different colors on the switch I bought for install, and explained bulb models that worked in new ballast. Thank you.

I was ecstatic that they were able to come out the same day that I called. The two electricians that came out were so respectful . I appreciated the way they explained what happened and how quickly they fixed the problem. I would definitely recommend them in the future and will use them again.

Chuck and John arrived to fix a major problem for me! The electricity went out in my master bedroom when I turned on a blow dryer... same blow dryer in the same outlet I'd used for two years. Resetting the circuit breaker (after unplugging the dryer) didn't solve my problem. I found Pat's Electric on Angie's List. They were able to finally trace my problem to my ceiling fan... nothing to do with the dryer in the outlet. Turns out when I was doing some cleaning of the light fixture on the ceiling fan the day before, I apparently rotated the light fixture around just enough that the base of one of the long candelabra light bulbs in the big crystal fixture was now coming in contact with the metal pull cord to turn the fan on and off! WEIRD problem, for sure, and silly me for doing such a good cleaning job. :) We laughed, and we all learned something new. After much head scratching, these guys could easily have told me I had a short in the light fixture, or that something needed to be rewired, but they knew it was something else and kept at it until they figured it out. I am happy to say that I now have an electrician I TRUST in my iPhone and on the side of my fridge! Chuck and John were great, respectful, funny, nice guys. It's uncomfortable welcoming complete strangers into your home and right into your bedroom, but they were friendly and there was no weirdness. Thanks guys! I'll never call anyone else, and will be quick to recommend you to anyone who needs an electrician!

 I called Jay around 10:00am and he said he would be there around 1:00pm. He showed up on time and went right to work to find the problem. He pinpointed the problem to a corroded bass bar in the main panel. At the time we are unable to afford to have the panel box replaces. He was able to move some of the breakers and get us our lights back. All of this in 1 hour. He says we still need a new panel box but to call him if the lights go out again and he will be right there. Once we're ready to put in the new panel box he will be the one we call.

Excellent customer service!  Arrived on time, and did the work to my satisfaction.  Very neat - even cleaned up dust after they were done.   Will definitely use again!

In short, if you need electrical work done, Pat's Electric is the place to call.  From the initial estimate from Jay to actual work performed, in this case, by Vinny and Jerry, you can't get better customer service.   They are meticulous in providing both quality work and developing a rapport with the customer.  They know their business.  And they don't leave until all aspects of the job are done to the clients satisfaction, from clean up to whatever else needs done (and no, I'm not related to them or own a % of the business!  I'm just someone who knows a *quality* operation when I see it)

It went great! He did a really good job in all. The only bad thing was that there was a huge gap from the top of the light switch plate on the wall that my husband had to fill with spackle. But that could have been from the existing hole that was behind the original switch plate, too. In all, we were very satisfied!
