"We hired Pierce Landscaping & Design to get our flower beds back into shape - so weeding and removing of bushes. We also had an old sandbox that we’ve been meaning to turn into a flower bed as well as a back patio that needed some TLC. Pierce came and gave us a fair quote. We were able to schedule the work in a few weeks. The crew was quick and efficient. They checked in with us before putting down any mulch. I would def recommend them."

"I highly recommend Fabiano's Construction. Our experience with him was fantastic from beginning to end. The project was to restore and replace the exterior window frames of our 1830 Trinity. The previous owners had installed new windows on the inside but left the old ones outside for beauty. Many of these old windows were completely rotten at the bottom, barely holding the small panes of glass together. We got three estimates. One builder wanted to replace the old windows with a second set of new ones. Another was going to patch them up with wood filler. Fabiano was the only one who was willing to actually restore them, using green wood for the parts that were beyond salvaging. It was precision carpentry work requiring problem-solving ingenuity. The new frames and sills are green wood plus Azek (PVC), so they should last forever. Although more major restoration was necessary than foreseen, Fabiano and his crew—his son Will and assistant Simon—still finished the job in the predicted time. They were careful, focused, hard-working, and also really nice, honest people. It was a pleasure to meet them, and the result is a stunning improvement to our house both inside and out. Fabiano is responsive and friendly, an expert who takes pride in his work. Incredibly, his price was the lowest the three. We plan to hire him for another project."

"The tree removal went extremely well. A crane was required due to the height and location next to power and utility lines. The tree was safely brought down and the area was cleaned up well after the work was completed. The workers were very professional and friendly, and kept me informed, before and after the work."

"Company was hired to prepare and excavate a pad site for a pole barn garage. The guy "Wilson" knows what he is doing however he short changed me on the services that we agreed to. In addition, he under estimated materials needed to complete the work as well as while excavating the area, my sprinkler system was damaged. I had to advise him to come back and complete compaction of fill dirt. After compaction you were able to see that the site was clearly not leveled. I had to bring in more fill dirt to accommodate for this. I paid him anyway because his effort was good, but after payment he never followed up with me. It's like once he was paid then you never hear from him!"

"Found Rock-A-Fellas on Angies List and I'm glad I did.  Bob examined thoroughly and patiently explained the construction flaws in the carport built in the rear of my home by another contractor back in 2009.  Because the original contactor did not follow standard building codes and use proper construction techniques and materials, I was cited by the City of Philadelphia.  Bob spoke to the Licenses and Inspections Inspector and tried very hard to figure a way to save the carport.  Unfortunately, due to the poor prior construction, demolition was the only option left to me. 

Bob and his three man crew arrived 30 minutes early and for the next three and a half hours methodically and carefully removed the carport, which included a roof and sides.   I was very impressed with their attention to detail such as avoiding damaging the power and cable lines, reassembling the downspout, tying back the power lines after the demolition was over/ 

After the demolition was over, you couldn't tell there was ever a structure.  

I hired Rock-A-Fellas to  remodel/reconstruct my nephew's bedroom, which had termite and moisture damage.  I'm also considering having Bob and his crew do a complete remodel of my kitchen, basement, and a new carport. 

This was my best experience with a contractor.  I give Rock-A-Fellas an A+++++ rating.

"Chris and his crew were excellent. The extent of Chris' knowledge was quite impressive. He made me feel like I was finally in good hands by showing and thoroughly discussing everything he found. During his inspection he checked every possible issue that could be causing the problems. He explained the repair processes necessary and showed me as he was doing them. They were courteous and cleaned up, leaving my property cleaner than when they arrived. They were very polite and more than willing to do whatever was necessary to help me complete the project as I wanted. "Rightway Waterproofing is the company you want to come and waterproof your basement. I had initially set up a job looking for pros through Angie's List. I was contacted by Rightway Waterproofing via phone and email but did not respond as life happens. Well it rained really heavy again in August and I had more water in the basement. I reached out to them on a Friday and Albert contacted me immediately. They were able to come out on Monday to look at my property. Jake was thorough and friendly. He let me know what he thought we needed, explained everything thoroughly and gave us a quote which was completely reasonable. We accepted the bid and work was to commence on Thurs as they had an opening. Work was completed in one day. The area was kept pristine and they did an amazing job. The crew was courteous to my family. I could not recommend them more. I hope to have them out again at some point to finish my basement area as well. Try to keep in mind that during the season of covid many families are looking for ways to make more space in their homes or to have to home projects done. If you are waiting for work to be done just know that it is worth it! Thanks Rightway!!!"

"The contractor returned my initial phone call immediately and scheduled appointment for appraisal. During appraisal he described everything needed to be done and tree days later emailed me a detailed quote. It was obvious that they do a quality job without any shortcuts. But the quoted price was more than 50% than everybody else, as a result I don't hire this company"
