"Excellent service. They went over and above. They did an outstanding job. Very polite, efficient, and worked in a timely manner. Thank you and thank you HomeAdvisor addendum. Make sure you walk thru the house before you pay. In my case did not properly put ba a stair rail they took down to paint.. a child grabbed onto it and went careening downstairs. I called Jesus to put back up correctly. He agreed and never showed up to fix it. Now I have to hire someone to repair this. He also charged an additional 200$ to do trim in 4 rooms painted. They left one person to finish and he did not complete all 4 rooms. Said he did not speak English so I could not reason with him. So the job they did liked great but I not worth 1600 he charged me. I also bought paint and got top of line Behr one coat paint which in my experience makes all the difference!"

Epoxy Flooring questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can seal old or existing concrete, but proper preparation is crucial. The concrete surface must be clean, dry, and free of any incompatible old sealant. To check if an old sealer is present, drip a few drops of water onto the surface; if the water is absorbed in under five minutes, it's ready to be resealed. If you plan to use the same type of sealer that was previously applied, you may not need to remove the old layer. However, if you are using a different type of sealer, the old one must be completely removed. Before applying the new sealer, thoroughly clean the concrete and repair or fill any cracks to ensure a smooth, well-prepared surface.

To keep your stamped concrete surfaces shiny, experts recommend resealing them every two or three years. Regularly cleaning your stamped concrete (at least twice per year, as part of routine maintenance) is another way to increase its sheen. Also, if you notice any spills or leaks, you should clean your stamped concrete as soon as possible to preserve its shine and prevent long-term damage.

Since epoxy products are hazardous to handle, it’s best to leave this job to a professional epoxy flooring contractor. These flooring professionals will have the appropriate protective gear to stay safe during the application process and will use the correct tools needed for the job. In addition, if not correctly applied, the epoxy won’t harden correctly, causing performance issues. Hire a professional epoxy flooring contractor to guarantee a smooth, even finish for your flooring.

You primarily need to be concerned about the moisture level in concrete when you are dealing with a basement or other below-ground part of your house. If you find any indication of moisture in your subterranean space, consider calling in a professional for further testing and moisture control solutions.

While you shouldn’t use thinset mortar on its own as a floor leveler, it can work alongside other products to help level floors. For instance, you could start with a self-leveling compound, let that dry, then apply backer board with thinset mortar to help fully even out the floors ahead of laying tile.
