"First let me say I have never written a review before, but Sam did such a wonderful job that I felt it was the right thing to do. We have hired a number of contractors over the last few years and Sam's Hardwood Floors was the only company that did exactly what they said they would do in the time frame Sam quoted. We had purchased a new home and the floors were in really bad shape. Sam refinished all the floors upstairs, downstairs and stairways and they look great. When he arrived he had asked what color stain we were thinking about...we knew we did not want a light color. Without us asking he had sanded an area of flooring to the bare wood and set up four separate square taped out areas with different color stains. This really made it easy for us to make a decision. We had not yet moved into the house prior to the floors being refinished, every night Sam would send pictures of the work he had completed that day. Can you think of the last time a contractor has taken the time to do that? We cannot say enough about his work and professionalism.
