I had another hardwood floor expert come and look at the job that was done in the hallway living room and steps. It was established that the floors were not sanded enough leaving large spots of old finish that resulted in different stain spots not being removed. There are also bubbles in the top coat. The corners were also done improperly resulting in old stain being left on.. the steps did not have old stain removed and the proper sanding tools were not used resulting in lack of adhesion to varnish as well as old stain not removed. I had initially sent a complaint to Angi and the owner shouted at me over the phone and said I shoild have contacted him directly and he said he would fix it. He then come over and yelled at me at and my husband he said he would not fix floors unless we removed our complaint from Angi's list and provide him with a positive review. After trying to live with the awful job he did I finally contacted a highly respected flooring company with over 20 years experience to look at the work done which is described in opening paragraph.

The Longest Yard Inc. installed my laminate floors. Tom Long, the owner, was on time and is a person of his word. For this job, he had two employees Will and RJ, they were all equally good communicators, good workers and very polite. I am very happy with the work that they did. My condo looks and feels 100% better now it has new floors!

Tom was great and the floors look beautiful. I do wish there was a little bit more communication throughout the process and that removing quarter round prior to sanding/staining was presented as an option.

He and his son were both very professional and you can tell they have a lot of pride in what they do. They were extremely accommodating and they moved furniture and didn't need to help us but they are very customer service oriented. We would highly recommend them.
