"Horizon Services Warranty Entrapment New to Delaware, but struggling with a HVAC warranty issue with Horizon. Advice Please. I have been waiting 3 months for an Appointment to get my annual HVAC system serviced by the Horizon team. Starting this process in June, I was told that September 12th was now an Option after 10 min on hold. I did not accept this as this was another month out and I was not available. I have made no less than 5 attempts to get a service appt on my HVAC and each time, since the "10 Year Warranty" maintenance team is 1/10 the size of the fleet driving around, I was told I would be put on a waiting list to be called back. Nothing! No one ever called me. I keep calling them. Horrible! My frustration is a legal one: My system warranty was several thousand dollars on top of the new units and installation. However If i dont get a $149/year Annual Service I void this; if someone else services the units-I void this. I want a way out: 1) Horizon to reimburse or pay another HVAC company of my choosing to perform this service, and keep my warranty in tack in writing. 2) How about a business model for warranty holders: Schedule me like a Dentist....11-12 months year from my last appointment (provided not winter so my AC can be checked), they send me an appointment reminder. This is a big hassle, anyone else have this issue? I don't know if he takes time off, as he's researched info and been back to us well after normal business hours to help us as quickly as possible. He has spent time on the phone with me when I have had questions about an issue that was water related (water filter) but not truly a plumbing issue. He talked me through some trouble shooting, and let me know while it wasn't something a plumber would normally handle, I should call the water filter company for service. He didn't leave it there, he called back a few days later to check in on the issue and make sure everything worked out. I can't recommend Jerry and Lynch Plumbing highly enough for all of your needs."

"Disappointing experience with this company. Repair was done when I was not at home and was satisfactory but the plumber left some unexplained holes in the floor. They also overcharged my credit card and did not respond to phone calls or a formal letter to resolve the situation. The owner tells you he'll call you back but he never does. You have to keep calling back."
