"We moved a wooden dining room table, padded dining room chairs, two leaves, the glass cover to the table and a large, ornate floor lamp between two homes in New York City and Westchester (about 50 mile apart). Jimmy and Nicolas were superb: careful, professional, thoughtful, engaging, and focused. I cannot imagine a better moving service than we had in this one. Superb is the word!"

"They were on time and were very professional, friends, took off their shoes and cleaned up after themselves. They were wonderful, I can't say enough. They assembled a desk and hung my kitchen shelves."

"We used Westlyn and A 2 Z for a new Trex deck with a new above ground pool set. and incorporated it into the deck itself. We did not have specific plans, just an idea of how it could look. Westlyn worked with us the whole way addressing our concerns, and guiding his team to our final product, a lovely new pool and deck i cant wait to swim in!! they were professional , clean, and very helpful as we ran into little glitches here and there as all projects do, and solved them quickly. the only problem we had was waiting at different times due to the pandemic, obviously this is out of his control. we would definitely refer him to others, the work exceeded expectations and was within budget."

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

Verify zoning compliance and property setbacks early to avoid delays. Submit all necessary permit applications well in advance of the busy spring rush. Schedule new construction for late summer or fall, and book winterization pool and spa service by September to beat early freezes in Stamford. Always contact local utilities to mark underground lines before digging, and confirm your design meets all state safety barrier requirements.

Helpful?

For pool construction and installation in Stamford, choose materials that withstand deep frost and freeze-thaw cycles. Gunite or shotcrete concrete shells perform exceptionally well in the rocky glacial soils found throughout the area. Select freeze-thaw-rated natural stone or pavers for your coping and decking. Ensure your contractor seals these surfaces properly to prevent winter cracking. Avoid fiberglass if your neighborhood has tight crane access, and remember that vinyl liners become brittle in cold climates.

Helpful?

After completing fall pool and spa service, inspect your safety cover and equipment following the first hard freeze to ensure lines remain fully protected. During CT winters, check cover anchors regularly to manage heavy snow loads. Following a spring opening, retest the water chemistry after two weeks to allow local reservoir water to stabilize. Always schedule a final municipal inspection to verify safety barrier compliance after any structural work.

Helpful?

Address structural damage, buckling floors, and broken safety fencing immediately before winter freeze-thaw cycles worsen the destruction. You can delay cosmetic upgrades or non-structural equipment replacements until the off-season. If you want a new pool for the summer, start planning your pool construction and installation during the winter. Stamford building permit reviews take several weeks, and local professionals book their schedules months in advance for the April through October building season.

Helpful?

Look for cracked or spalling plaster in early spring, which points to improper winterization. Displaced waterline tile and heaved decking indicate severe frost damage from harsh CT winters. Watch for persistent water loss or white mineral deposits on the walls, signaling failed structural repairs. If you notice rough, etched surfaces, your previous pool and spa service failed to properly balance the hard local water.
