"We have had a Capital Oven with intermittent igniter issues for the past several months and called over to see if they can help get it back to working order before the Holiday cooking season. John C at A Action Appliance showed up in the time window provided, had the problem diagnosed/confirmed in approximately 10 minutes. He had the parts replaced and oven back in running order in less than an hour. He was nice, clearly communicated the problem and confirmed full price of repair before completing. Ben repaired my Marvel Refrigerator by replacing the thermostat for a very reasonable fee equal to a small percent of the replacement cost. In comparison, another service company who had originally installed both refrigerators looked at the exact same problem several years ago and insisted that it was not repairable and that I needed to replace the refrigerator at a cost of several thousand dollars. "Beware of shipping issues with this company. Ordered an ice maker installation kit on 10/10/25. Shipping was due no later than 10/20 according to company and FedEx tracking. FedEx tracking showed the package at their facility for 8 days without moving beginning on 10/15. Called FedEx 3 times. Each time they said they cannot find package and I have to contact shipper. Shipper has to make a claim, they will not mark it as lost. Called Appliance Parts Pros twice. Each time they say FedEx has to mark package lost before they will do anything. They also state they have to wait 14 days from them before doing anything because of their contract with FedEx. I don't care about their contract, I want what was ordered and paid for. Just going in circles with them and FedEX. If they shipped after 14 days it would be 22 days from that point, 32 days from the date of order if they shipped it that day. There was a deadline for installing this part before tenants arrive. They did not care, would not m"

He fixed the mess I made - DIY is not my strength, and I added a second leak through my efforts. Then he took the time to find the original leak - it was a slow leak, and didn't present immediately. He found the problem, ordered the part before he left, came back after the weekend to install. He showed where the old part had deteriorated, and left the part with me. $206.32 in total for two visits, the part and the repair. More than reasonable! On a side note, Jim is a delight to talk to.
