"First, Silk City Electric wasn't the first electrician I hired but a previous electricians helper dropped the ball on showing up on time and he technically had three days (yes, during the Memorial Day weekend) to install 3 4-plug outlets for my network server room and still did not come out on Memorial Day morning like he offered. I couldn't even get him to answer the phone when I called earlier. With all this said Marty from Silk City Electric, LLC happened called me back to see if he could still come out and give me an estimate as promised earlier in the week. So since the previous electrician did not show in the time frame he told me, Marty was my guy! Marty offered to do the work on Memorial Day morning at the price the other electrician (helper) gave. Marty was very professional but very friendly with a great deal of personality. I like professionalism for sure but you will win me over with a great personality and disposition, let alone good work. He performed the work in the time frame he gave me (I think early) and even doubled checked his work before leaving to make sure I was happy with the end result. I will be calling Silk City Electric, LLC for ALL my electrical needs. Fan installation and burned out outlet next! Also should mention Marty has been in the business for over 25 years and given he just started his new company in January 2015, as a small business owner myself, I was happy to give him a shot and he met my expectations."

"Came in time slot given, very professional. Put up one indoor and one outdoor ceiling fan where there were none. Look great afterwards. Noted the 10 can lights on my deck were not rated for damp spaces and offered to replace them with damp rated LED lights. Fair price for all the work done. Feel better about being in code. Finished up in good time. Cleaned up. Brought my outside outlets up to code with covers. And fixed one of my broken electrical sockets while they were here. Definitely would use again."

My house had Aluminum wiring in it and I called around looking for a team of people to rewire the entire home in a tight time restraint. Justin came out to do the estimate work and explained all of the options that I had. He was very professional and treated my home as his own. Justin and his team (Kurt, Devin, Zeb & John Jr) worked diligently to ensure the entire project was completed on time. The team treated the house with respect and would ensure that I was satisfied with everything before leaving. Some highlights of the teams performance are below -Covered all furniture with tarps to ensure they would not get dirty -Wore boot covers to protect my floors (wood and carpet) from getting dirty -Vacuumed and swept the areas that they worked -Informed me well in advance to any power outages that I would have during the project time -Worked outside in a blizzard to complete the job before the time limit -Shoveled my walkway when it snowed while I was at work -Gave recommendations on what I could do in the home (Adding outlets for wall mounted tvs, adding lights above the shower that was previously dark, installing ceiling fans) which were all included in the budget. - Took the time to answer any of my electrical questions and they were more then happy to show me what they were doing.
