Others use square footage to estimate the amount of paint required and charge a multiple of the material cost, and some may estimate the time required and factor that in. There are several pros and cons to brick houses, including the fact that painted brick requires more maintenance than bare brick. For one, you need to repaint the surface every 10 or so years. When choosing paint for stucco, it's recommended to use a high-quality exterior paint specifically formulated for masonry or stucco surfaces. Look for paints labeled as "masonry paint," "stucco paint," or "concrete paint." These paints are designed to adhere well to stucco surfaces and provide durability and weather resistance. 

Opt for paints with good breathability to allow moisture to escape and prevent potential issues with trapped moisture. You may also want to consider paints with UV resistance to protect the stucco from fading or discoloration due to sun exposure.

You can paint concrete with paint rollers. In fact, using paint rollers is considered one of the easiest ways to evenly apply paint on concrete. A paint roller with a 1/2- to 3/4-inch-thick nap—which is basically a fabric paint roller cover—is best for painting concrete. The thicker the nap, the more paint it can hold to fill those pesky concrete cracks and crevices.

In terms of durability, the best paint for a bathroom is a semi-gloss paint. Higher gloss finishes are the most durable, easy-to-clean, and mold-resistant options. However, semi-gloss paint is better suited to walls and ceilings than high-gloss paint, which tends to highlight imperfections and is better suited to details like trim, window frames, and cabinetry.
