"King Remodeling is the best - best quality and best to work with! Ilan and every member of his crew are not only very skilled and professional, but polite, personable and responsive to any question I might have. And they are fastidious about cleaning up every night, which I appreciate, as well as kind to my sometimes overly friendly dog. I had a vision of what I wanted, which involved removal of a closet. Several companies I met with started their conversation with reasons why complete removal might not be possible and that, if load bearing, there could be significant cost above the quote provided. In contrast, in my first meeting with Ilan, he started with an explanation of how he would solve any potential load bearing issues and provided a fixed upfront cost comparable to other “starting price” quotes I had received. Ilan’s quote also included custom cabinets, custom countertops and tile backsplash, compared to stock cabinets, pre-fab countertops and no backsplash included in other quotes. So getting exactly what I wanted AND higher quality for the same price or less? It was a no brainer. Extra bonus is that Ilan instantly became a friend, He truly cares about his clients both as clients and as individuals. Although every situation will be different (because these guys are busy!), I was fortunate enough to have design start immediately and actual construction at my house start within a few weeks after signing a contract. Even in the midst of COVID-19 supply backups, because of Ilan’s connections and guidance, my new kitchen will be completed in about a week, less than two months after entering into contract. I am so grateful and excited! Ilan offered input based on his decades of experience, helping me select design features, as well appliances and fixtures that would both fit my budget and maximize enhancement of the finished project. But he also listened to and respected my opinions and preferences, even the few times they were off sync with his. Much thought was put into a design that would work best for me, NOT what would be easiest or the most profitable for the company. As the project progressed and I thought of tweaks and/or additional work I would like (such as relaying floors I had inexpertly installed), the response was always “no problem.” I doubt very many remodels are completed without a couple of bumps in the road. Mine is no exception. But Ilan excels at problem solving and his amazing crew excels at implementing. Each issue encountered was taken in stride and resolved with grace and a smile. When prior poor workmanship and construction defects were discovered along the way, it was a given that those issues would also be remedied and upgraded to ensure a perfect end product. If you are thinking about a remodeling job, big or small, it is an understatement to say that I highly recommend King Remodeling. They are beyond fantastic!!"

"The quality of the final product was good, although I had to stay constantly involved in the project and continually catch mistakes the project manager missed. Our project was supposed to take 6 weeks and ended up taking 13 weeks to complete. We were return customers having used RemodelWorks for another bathroom remodel earlier in the year, but we felt as if rather than rewarding us for our loyalty to them, we became the absolute last priority for them. Early in the project our project manager got a job at another company and our project began falling behind schedule soon after we were assigned a new PM. Rather than working extra to catch up RemodelWorks went with the opposite strategy and would send workers out 2-3 days a week to work on our bathroom and fall even further behind. Incredibly frustrating experience. Could not have felt less valued as a customer. The only olive branch they offered was to offer a vague discount on a future project."
