We have used Drew and Coastal Designs over many years to renovate all of our bathrooms and our kitchen. We love working with them because the team is always the best of the best, very professional and knowledgeable, and even better, they finish the work on schedule! I don't know how he pulls it together, but every time we have a project, Drew and his team get it done on and sometimes before the expected finish date. Working with Drew Efimoff and Coastal Designs on our master bathroom/closet remodel was a pleasure. We first engaged Drew through our designer. She had quite a few conversations with him and concluded that he was meticulous about details and would likely be a good match with our style. Once we were ready, Drew provided a quote with enough detail to keep us on the same page, but without overwhelming us. After an in-person meeting, we came away with confidence to move forward. Our remodel was a bit complex because the house is modern and does not have any parallel walls. The shower wall and cabinet walls are curved. Drew was careful to guide our choices for tile, etc. in light of this challenge. Along the way, he knew when to ask us questions about details that were important. This kept us engaged in every step and ensured we were happy with the end result. Drew and all of his subcontractors are genuinely nice people and very thoughtful about how they worked in our home. They kept to one entrance and came and went without disturbing us. All of their work was of high quality and efficiency. Any time we asked for something to be touched up or adjusted, it was done immediately and often already in the works. They kept our home clean and as dust free as possible for a construction site. The project schedule was tight, and Drew stuck closely to it. The team worked every Saturday to meet deadlines. The project stayed on budget as well. Drew brought in Classy Closets to design and build our walk-in closet. Their work was excellent. He also provided referrals to a variety of services that we have been pleased with. We highly recommend Drew Efimoff at Coastal Designs.

We used Drew at Coastal Designs for our Kitchen Remodel in 2021 and were so positive on the experience we brought him back to do our Bathrooms in 2024. I love Drew’s contributions during the design phase. We were able to review his extensive portfolio and he got an understanding of our tastes and vision. He was able to recommend all the detailed items that made the rooms look fantastic. The best part about Drew though is he is always on budget and on schedule. Our bathrooms were completed 2 weeks ahead of schedule. I have friends who went with other contractors and their projects took months and they seemed to be constantly fighting with their contractor. First of all I love the way my kitchen remodel turned out. I hosted the monthly family gathering yesterday with rave reviews. We took an old U shaped kitchen, with old cabinets and a furnace in the kitchen (which was turned into a pantry) and made it into such a lovely and airy space. I cannot say enough about Drew, his excellent daily communication, his subcontractors, his advice and guidance. He listened to my ideas and made them happen. I'm so pleased with the way he worked with me because I wanted something that maybe is not so current right now, but it fits with the style of my traditional house.

Working with Drew from Coastal Designs exceeded our expectations. We have had several remodeling projects done in our home over the last 20 years and none went as smoothly or as on budget as our kitchen and bath remodel with Coastal Designs. We were told that the two rooms would take 6-7 weeks to complete and they took 6 1/2 weeks. Communication as to which subcontractors would be onsite on which days and times was excellent, which allowed my family to carry on work and other activities without interruption. There were no unexpected expenses at all, which we've always run into when working with other contractors. Most importantly, we love the design and quality of our kitchen and powder room remodel and highly recommend Drew and Coastal Designs.

Drew at Coastal Designs did an incredible job from start to finish. He worked with our ideas and gave us suggestions. He provided a 3D model of what the new floor plan would look like. He gave us a detailed proposal with competitive pricing. Everyone who worked for him was polite, professional and of high quality. The entire kitchen remodel was finished on time as promised.

Coastal Designs Inc. is awesome! We just finished a complete remodel of our master bathroom and a facelift on our second upstairs bathroom. It was completed 2 weeks ahead of schedule. Drew took my inspiration picture and made it happen and it came out better than I could even imagine. His crews were professional, respectful and on time and their work was meticulous. All the products used were high quality and the workmanship impeccable. Drew even had a cleaning crew every Friday to keep the construction dust to a minimum. Drew kept us informed on the daily schedule and progress and was great about any communication. He completely took the stress out of having a remodel. We are so happy with our new bathrooms and it was such a great process. Drew over delivered!

We had the pleasure of using Drew & Coastal Designs for a kitchen and master bathroom remodel. The job was completed two weeks earlier than scheduled (amazing given today’s supply chain and labor woes). We are thrilled with both the end product and the fact that the process was as painless as a remodel can be. For example: Drew was very transparent and provided a comprehensive, 20+ page proposal that detailed each aspect of the remodel so there was no misunderstanding of the work to be performed. What is impressive is the quality of the work; his concern was that we don’t have problems 10 years down the road. Drew only takes on a limited number of jobs at a time and provides his full attention to those jobs and is not spread too thin. He was onsite every day, and we met every morning to go through the work to be done and decisions to be made that day. He was always reachable by phone/text and usually responded to messages immediately. We liked that we could provide as much or as little input as we wanted. Where we did have specific requests, he LISTENED but would also (politely) tell us when our ideas were way out there/cause for concern. We valued Drew’s input and professional expertise whereas we did not feel that the other contractors we interviewed would warn us of a bad idea. His team was very clean (and all were very nice) and he would send a cleaning person at the end of each work week so that the house was tidy for the weekend. Thus, we lived at home during the remodel without any problems. We obtained several quotes from other contractors as well, and while Coastal Designs was not the lowest quote, what gave us the most comfort was that Drew wanted the product to be done right (versus as fast as possible). Drew takes pride in his work and prioritizes quality over expediency. Most importantly, Drew is as nice and as honest as can be and was a pleasure to work with. We truly enjoyed working with Drew!

We recently hired Drew and his team at Coastal Designs to renovate both our master bath and our downstairs bath-and both look AMAZING! We had 3 companies bid the job and Drew's proposal was by far the most complete. While the others had placeholders for the fixtures, Drew had specific quality products in his proposal. He also provided drawings with ideas that we had not considered, such as lighting in the showers, which not only provided light , but added to the incredible look of both rooms. He provided a 6 week timeline for the project and completed the job in 5, he also was here every morning to meet with his subs and introduce them to us. His guys were always on time, did a great job , and cleaned up every day. At the end of each week he also had a teammate come and do a deep clean prior to the weekend. Drew exceeded our expectations and we HIGHLY recommend Coastal Designs.

We selected Drew Efimoff (Coastal Designs) for our kitchen and den remodel. Overall, we could not be happier with the results. My wife and I are both accountants by trade, and what we liked most about Drew was as follows: 1. Adherence to Schedule - when it comes to kitchens and baths, Drew is dialed-in. He knows exactly how long everything takes, the ideal order of operations for his subcontractors, and has them making progress everyday. Our friends were impressed by how quickly and efficiently our project came together. They made comments like "we used our friend to do a remodel and it took months!" There was nothing like that with Drew. 2. Detailed Itemized Budget - Drew put together a 3 page budget in our work proposal. There was no question what was in scope vs out of scope. It made review and discussion very straightforward and simple. 3. Design Consultation - we are not creative people by any means, and Drew was very helpful here. He helped generate ideas, knew all the best practices from his many other remodels, and was able to guide and advise on our material choices to let us know if we were making a mistake. He was able to see the complete picture and know how everything would look when it was all together. In addition to these points, Drew was responsive, neat, and always attentive to detail. It's really hard for me to overstate that this guy knows what he's doing. Kitchen remodels are a big deal, a big expense. When you hire Drew you are hiring an absolute PRO, and you can rest assured your money will be well spent.

Simply put - Drew is the best of the best. We have worked with several other contractors over the years and Drew is truly in a class of his own. We reached out to Drew to remodel our master bathroom (due to a leak) after not hearing back from other contractors in a timely manner. We read the glowing reviews from other homeowners and we too were not disappointed with his services. His communication is excellent, he delivers on time, does what he says he’s going to do, when he says he’s going to do it, and the teams he works with are true professionals. We are so happy with the end result - and I am admittedly very picky. We asked for a tranquil spa-like bathroom and that is exactly what we got. We just completed our kitchen and bathroom remodel with Coastal Designs and couldn’t be happier. This is the second remodel Drew has done for us. He did our kitchen remodel in our previous place in 2014 and we had a great experience with both projects. Drew and his team are very professional and considerate. The work is high quality. A lot of time is spent planning the layout to make sure it is functional and fits your needs. There is a good balance of listening to the clients requests while also offering alternative options that may work better for the space, either functionally or aesthetically (he kindly steered me away from a couple of bad ideas I had for our kitchen). There is great attention paid to all the little details which really have a big impact on the end result. The timeline of the project is determined prior to the start and he stuck to his proposed timeline. Drew came by everyday throughout the duration of the remodel to check on things. He is very responsive and easy to reach if anything comes up. We have recommended Coastal Designs to friends and they have all been very pleased with their experience as well. I spend a lot of time researching and reading reviews anytime we hire someone for a new project so I wanted to pass along what a great experience we have had with Coastal Designs ... on TWO remodels.

This is the second remodeling project that Coastal Designs did for us. They remodeled the kitchen last year, and we were so happy with the results that we brought Drew and his crew back again to do both of our downstairs bathrooms. The results of both projects are fantastic. The layout has been excellent and very well thought out for user convenience. Artistically the design and choice of colors was exactly what we wanted and matches the theme of the house and our decor. And the workmanship and quality of components used was impeccable. The price we paid was almost exactly per the detailed Coastal Designs proposal except for some small last minute additions that we requested. And the work was completed early on both projects. This was particularly impressive considering the bathrooms were remodeled during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, and some components like windows had long lead times and late shipping by the manufacturer. Finally, Drew of Coastal Designs is a true gentleman and a joy to work with. He is honest, sincere in wanting the customer to be happy with the result, and doesn't try and "up-sell" for additional work or services. The crews doing the work are wonderful craftsmen and polite and gracious. Thank you Drew and Coastal Designs team for two outstanding remodel projects!

I can’t thank Drew enough for creating a beautiful master bathroom for us. He handled every aspect of our renovation, which was really important for us because we have extremely busy work schedules. Selecting materials and finishes was easy and efficient due to Drew’s great eye for design and use of high end retailers. His entire team was just as kind and dependable as Drew. He even sent cleaning crews to mop up at the end of the day’s work. We started our project at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic and Drew still managed to complete our bathroom on time and within budget. Initially we were concerned about the cost, but we quickly learned that Coastal Designs is worth every penny. You won’t find a nicer and more ethical designer & contractor than Drew. We highly recommend Coastal Designs and will definitely use them for any future projects.

On time and as smoothly as possible while living in the house during construction for one month. Very clean work, excellent time planning, no idle days when nothing was done. Special cleaning at the end of each week to make the house more liveable. Daily trash pickup and nno dumpster present ever. Could not have gone any smoother.

Drew Efimoff of Coastal Designs and his team of contractors did an amazing job on our complete kitchen remodel. In short, the workmanship was impeccable, he finished way ahead of his estimated due date, and he did the work for exactly the amount stated in his proposal. Drew was also one of the most responsive individuals I have ever worked with in any profession. He personally answered the phone every time I called, he responded to every email and text within a very short period of time, and he was exceptionally punctual to every meeting we arranged. We first contacted Drew in early August of 2019 based on a recommendation from a friend. He answered the phone directly, and we set up a meeting to discuss possibilities of a kitchen remodel. He arrived exactly at the designated time, and spent a lot of time discussing options and approximate costs. Once we told him we were serious, he returned to make detailed measurements so he could provide us with a quotation. In about a week, we had another meeting where he presented us with a beautiful proposal, including some design options. The proposal was over 20 pages, bound and with section tabs. Each step of the project was detailed and costed. We accepted his proposal, and arranged to start work on Oct. 31st. We were planning to be out of town for the month of November, which would make things easier for everyone. Per the agreed payment schedule, we provided a deposit for cabinets, and worked with Drew and some excellent and very experienced suppliers to select appliances, flooring, counter tops, and backsplash. Drew knew the people we should work with and made excellent introductions which made this part of the process quite easy. Drew and his crew arrived on schedule to start demolition as we prepared to vacate the house. While we were gone, Drew sent occasional pictures so we could see the status. I also returned a few times to check things out in person and take care of personal matters. We were unbelievably surprised when we returned two days before Thanksgiving to find the kitchen 98% complete with flooring, cabinets, counter tops, tile backsplash, new lighting, and plumbing. The day after we returned, appliances were installed, and we had a functional beautiful new kitchen. Coastal Designs went from start to finish in less than 4 weeks. Drew guaranteed less than 8 weeks, and we were hoping he would finish in around 6 weeks. We never expected to come home to a virtually completed kitchen remodel. Also, Drew was exceptionally good about follow-up details. He sent a cleaning service over to dust the whole house, a carpet specialist get the carpet perfectly butted up with the tile, and the painter to make minor touch ups as necessary. He also helped make minor adjustments to cabinets so everything aligned and operated perfectly. We are so very happy! We might have been able to save a few bucks with another contractor, but I don't think the results would have been near as good or as easy for us. I really can’t imagine a remodeling project could go any better than what Drew and his Coastal Designs team achieved.
