"The guys at Del Mar Landscaping were great. Conrad, the owner of the company is the best. He is honest, understanding, and willing to work with you. His workers are also great - they always came with a smile and eager to work. They worked round the clock to get as much done as possible each day they came. Now, like all construction type jobs, there were a few things that didn't go as planned but the guys made sure to fix things as best as possible to give me what I envisioned / wanted. Ex. the putting green they installed was a little bumpy around the holes, wasn't as smooth as I'd hope it'd be - they came with a solution and fixed it within a few days of me letting them know. There were even a couple occasions where the plants they planted died a couple of weeks after they put them in and they, without question or hassle, replaced them. They are willing to own up to their mistakes (it happens) and fix things - which is refreshing as not all contractors I've dealt with are like this. I would definitely work with these guys again."

"Our backyard has multiple, disconnected garden zones, so we chose to use a flagstone patio and walkway system to connect the zones, seating areas, and planting beds. They designed the layout to maintain smooth transitions and even elevation for proper drainage. The patio covers roughly 1,150 square feet, including connecting pathways. Mortar joints were kept to a minimum to preserve a natural look. We appreciate this multi-zone patio as it has improved our movement around and visually ties different garden areas together."

"I've been working on an outdoor entertaining space in our backyard for literally years.  Designing, drawing, getting quotes, redesigning, budgeting, etc.  I could never quite get it right because of some unfortunate property limitations.  Then last December I found a photo on Pinterest of a bbq and entertainment area shaded by a custom-shaped canvas patio roof structure that curved around trees and then angled perfectly into a weirdly shaped space.  It completely opened my mind to entirely different possibilities for this project on which I was paralyzed.  The photo linked back to Superior Awning, so I called them and they sent out a man right away who knew everything about the exact project in the photo.  He offered a few different ideas for our difficult space, all of which were revelations!  My partner and I worked with his drawings, chose one and kick-started the project back into gear.  It's nearly finished now and shaded with our own perfectly made-to-order canvas patio cover in an exquisitely textured fabric that glows like candlelight underneath.  Superior Awning did a beautiful job with the installation and we're incredibly grateful for the design ideas.  Highly recommended.

"Did a great job. Original fabric awning came from another company, so I thought the holes that were drilled for the frame would not match up. Turns out they figured a way to hang the awning using the existing holes in the stucco. Anyway, its been several months and several rain storms and they look great. They were not the cheapest, but after talking to other providers that either were either slow to respond or were not sure about covering up existing awning holes, I went with Accent. I was a little surprised about the 50% requirement up front before work begins (apparently California State Law for only 10% down is for larger jobs). Anyway knowing that Accent has been in business for a long time gave me confidence that they would probably do the best job on a timely basis."

"Our backyard was in need of a redo: We struggled to grow grass, and we wanted a space that would accommodate a trampoline and a small garden, as well as a dining table and sitting area, but still feel green and lush. After meeting with a few landscapers who suggested we get rid of the trampoline, rip up our existing brick patio and put pavers everywhere, we met Alisa from Motti's team. As a landscape designer, she really listened to what we wanted, and had great ideas for how to incorporate it all, as well as suggestions for garden planters and furniture. A week after our meeting, we got detailed plans that showed us just what the yard would look like, as well as what plants would look and work best. We then worked with Motti to tweak the plans, finalize the budget, and pick out materials, etc., and we were able to schedule the project within a few weeks time. Once the job started, Motti's team of workers were professional and efficient, and Motti stopped by daily to check the progress. Our backyard is now a true extension of our living space, and it's welcoming to kids and adults. A great big thanks to Motti and his team!"

"Mike Guttman and this project exceeded my expectations in every way and at a reasonable price as well. Our new backyard was a mess - no lawn, downhill slope, unusable. Mike and his crew, who are amazing, poured a big patio for us, leveled the whole yard, built a fence, put in sprinklers, handled drainage from our downspouts, put in sod and even widened our driveway. My neighbors and friends are blown away by the change. We have a gorgeous backyard now intead of a brown hill. They came up with ways to save me money, were great to work with, respectful of our home and worked so hard and with such a great attitude I sort of missed them when they were gone. Many friends thought the project cost twice as much. He gave us a whole new space in the backyard and was fun to work with. I am going to use them for our front yard too. "I hired Hugo to remove an old pathway and steps and to replace it with concrete. He also helped with the landscaping. Hugo is very easy to work with, is reliable, calm and offers a very fair price for his work . He and his crew finished the job on time and were flexible when they had to delay due to a permit issue I needed to resolve. He came back after the job to help me with some additional things I realized I needed. I would use Hugo again and recommend him for any hardware or landscaping job you have."
