"I had a leaky gas shut- off valve on the gas line to my fireplace . After getting a few estimates, where people were asking $90 for coming over and giving an estimate, I was fortunate to find Facilities Plumbing and talked to Robert, who agreed to come over and provide a free estimate. He arrived at the appointed time and put on shoe covers before entering the house. Since the valve is located behind the drywall, he explained that he would have to cut the drywall in order to access and look at the valve. He gave an estimate for this part. After cutting open the drywall, he tested the valve for the leak and showed me the leak. This valve is situated such that it would have taken a whole day to replace it and would have involved cutting more drywall and 4x2s. Robert suggested that he can try to fix the valve to which I gladly agreed. He did, and fixed the valve and made sure there was no more leak. The whole job took a little over an hour and I ended up saving lot of money and headache. In addition, the job is guaranteed for 4 years which is way more than industry average. I am so glad I found Facilities Plumbing. I would hire them for all my future plumbing work. Robert is very friendly, pleasant and competent plumber. I wholeheartedly recommend him."

(Two sump pumps were working; they did not need repairs.) 1) Cut and replaced two broken pipes; installed new valves 2) New float sensors installed and set to auto-start the sump pumps 3) long outflow pine, connecting to city's water drainage system, was cleaned using long snake and high pressure water pump combination. 4) successful final test with water filled in water chamber and sump pumps working 5) JPC gave warranty for work done and signed up for once-a-year annual maintenance visit in October."

"I just finished a 6 week project and was very impressed with S&L’s work ethic and overall workmanship. Jeckob was easy to work with, and his guys are also exceptional. They updated our master bath and two other smaller bathrooms, and laid the kitchen backsplash. Our master bath looks especially gorgeous with literally no flaws. We had 3 shower heads installed requiring new piping and everything was still completed on time. They were with me until every handle was in place and even cosmetic pieces were hung and in place. No stone was left unturned. "The free estimate was conducted by phone with Matt.  He answered all of our questions fully, confirming that we did not need to install a larger unit and that all usual pipe and/or valves that needed to be replaced would be included in the quoted price.
The installer, Bobby, showed up within the stated time period, which was only two hours after the initial contact. He got right to work and was efficient, neat, and skilled.  He removed the old unit, took out some unnecessary pipes that were left from an old solar heating unit, and quickly installed the new unit.  He then demonstrated the thermostat operation, which is very different from the previous unit's, tested the operation, and cleaned up the area.
The price was reasonable. The unit has a good warranty (and looks nice ).  The Angie's List discount was applied with no problems.
My husband is a former plumber so he kept an eye on the whole install, and was pleased with the entire experience.

"Oak Plumbing did excellent work and is very expensive. The guy, Zachary, they sent was very nice at first. He was here approximately 3to 4 hours and our bill was 2,000.00. We felt that was a bit expensive. Zachary was nice but he never pumped water through the washing machine to check if his work fixed our leak or there were other problems. Turned out a pipe was broken under the house. Zachary wanted an additional $500.00 to fix the broken pipe he missed. His personality changed when I asked him to lower the price. It was a PVC drainage pipe that needed to be replaced and the joints glued. I had to get another plumber. Zachary turned nasty, turned around, and walked away mad. He should have looked at the whole job and tested the washer after he was done. Fixing the pipes involved."

This might be good Angi upgrade. I may have assumed talking to wrong company. MasterFlush met me halfway on the estimate. One control was broken and therefore complicated. The other was quick and textbook. I was satisfied with the job done, next day service, and price."
