I just want to preference this with how much I hate leaving negative reviews on small businesses. Like, I truly hate it. I am making an exception because this company (specifically Ivan) is a sham. They were hired by my property management to do mold remediation on my apartment and we were guaranteed by Ivan that once the treatment was finished, we would not have any further issues. I thought it was a reach as this is an entire building issue and mold will keep coming back, but, fine. I am okay with being proven wrong. We also bought a new dehumidifier and bleached the walls after we got home after the treatment. The apartment was mold free for about three weeks and now it has come back--AND IT IS EVEN WORSE. Ivan is refusing to come out to look at it and keeps insisting that it is dead mold, except it growing everywhere. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE AWFUL.

We chose to go with MPE after receiving several proposals. Their proposal was meticulous and included potential issues that we needed to be aware of. We received photos and updates of their progress throughout the day and no surprise add-ons. The final walk through was just as detailed as the proposal and the work exceeded our expectations. The district manager's (Ivan,) customer service is top notch.

They were quick, respectful and helpful. Seemed to know exactly what they were looking for.

Ivan (district manager) provided excellent service to explains the ins and outs of the mold restoration at my rental units in San Jose. He shows up on time, and comes across as very knowledgeable and professional. The team is very polite and taking care of my tenant personal belongings. He also guarantee of the work. I highly recommend the service by My Pure Environment and the 5-star work by Ivan.

The scheduling, conversation, and discussion with their service manager Steve all went well. They contacted me quickly and had someone out the same day. I was told I would receive a 16-page report, showing detailed explanations and the results of a control outdoor sample and 2 indoor test samples. The tech collected the samples and invoiced me right away, sending photos of the mold areas he inspected as well. He asked me to pay that day which I did, but I now know I should have waited for the report before settling this invoice. Instead of what was discussed during booking, I received a short 3-page report, which showed only the results of the test samples, no control, and no guidance on the result interpretation of the numbers presented. When I contacted the territory rep that did the work to inquire about why control was not done, and why the report seemed so abbreviated, I was told you can do your own tests; or you can schedule another appointment for me to run a new control sample for ~ $200 more. Mind you I had already paid then the ~$400 day of, which was supposed to have included this work. Additionally, in consulting with another lab and my legal advisor, the control sample must be collected on the same day as the others for the most reliable/ valid sampling. so essentially the report I got might be useless at worst, and certainly easily challenged, rendering me having wasted ~$400. I have reached out to their customer service to see if they would be willing to remedy the situation, but have not heard back.

I hired this company. They did a very good job, but I requested a paper receipt for tax purposes they have failed. my request was on the 24 of feb and I am still waiting. I have sent them two e-mails about this and I was reassured I would get it, I am still waiting. I think anything over two weeks is a bit too long. thanks.
