"We received quotes from 3 different contractors. We chose GAXL because it's close to Newark and I like how Jose explains everything in detail. Originally we thought the remodeling would take 4 weeks but it took close 6 weeks. The whole project was great, the craftsmanship was superb. At one point, we found some tiles that are not very nice (from the manufacturer) and we asked them to redo the bathroom wall. They don't complain and understand our request. The workers are great, especially Marvin and this other guy (forgot his name). They WORK very very hard from 8a to 6p everyday. Jose is on time and is very prompt in returning calls or text. In fact he's the only contractor who's very prompt and I like that! On one of the walls they discovered a mold due to rain leaking and they're able to fix it in 4 days which is great. Jose and his son pickup the materials from the suppliers and drop them in our house. Overall, Jose and his men are courteous. I will definitely use GAXL for future remodeling."

"The plumbing technicians came out as promised to assess the leak. They were both very courteous and kind and assessed the damage. I am giving three stars because they estimated the cost to be almost 250% higher than what the actual cost was to fix the issue. I am sure there are customers out there that would just accept any bid however, please get multiple beds for these projects, especially when working with this company as they will inflate the cost to take advantage of the situation. I ended up only paying for the $79 estimate."

"I can highly recommend Bay Home Remodeling. I updated two bathrooms in my home. They were thorough, very professional and timely. I felt very comfortable while having them in my home. Tom, the project manager, was always available to deal with any questions or issues and/or suggestions. I was always kept informed about progress. I am very satisfied with their work. It was excellent, especially the tile in my bathrooms. Don't hesitate to work with them."

"Excellent! I thought I needed a new thermostat since I wasn’t getting any heat. Juan came over , checked the circuit breaker and found that the breaker was worn out. He replaced the breaker and found that the thermostat was still functioning. He could have said that the thermostat needed replacing too but instead he just said you needed a new circuit breaker. I really appreciated the honesty. If he said I needed the thermostat too I would have paid for both thus increasing my bill. I just want to add a few more comments about the work that he’s done for me. I first met Juan when he came over to my house to stabilize a lose tile that was above my garage door. Then I showed him mold growing next to my shower door. He found a small crack that allowed water to seep into the sheet rock. He replaced the shower door and the sheet rock that was growing mold. Then I took him to the bathroom where I showed him a bulging floor board next to the toilet. He found a small crack in the toilet tank that slowly dripped water on to the backside of toilet dripping water onto the base board. He offered to repair the tank but I told him to go ahead and replace the toilet. I can’t say enough about Juan. Whatever the problem is he’ll figure out how to fix it. When he approaches a problem he approaches with a positive attitude. Another time my ceiling fan went out and I asked him to come out to see what the problem was. Instead over the phone he told me to check the remote control. I went on Amazon and ordered a new remote control . I placed in new batteries and the fan started working. He didn’t charge me anything for the advice. I was prepared to buy a new fan and all I needed was a new remote. Juan is multi talented. I’ve recommend him to my neighbor and he’s done a couple of projects for her (leaking roof). Lastly, in a couple of weeks he’s coming over to paint my front door and put a new latch on my side gate. I’m 77 years with an injured leg so fixing things around the house is difficult for me. Juan has made my life easier."

"Ben and his team completed work on my condo and I could not be more pleased with the results. I tasked them with a two bathroom remodels, kitchen sink replacement, and the creation of new sliding doors between my office and the master bedroom. Ben, Marcus, and Pete were prompt, professional, and very considerate of my time and space. Of note is Ben's candor when it came to design ideas, and expense. He advised that several of my ideas weren't worth the money, and suggested more cost effective alternatives, which I really appreciated.
