"Since I couldn’t upload before and after picture. The project was a detailed and tedious restoration of my vintage used brick patio that my gardener over power washed it destroying its appearance and its mortar.,”. The project was magnificent and difficult and I am extremely impressed by the dedication and workmanship. I wish you could see the pics"

"Counters look good, however, there was a HUGE mess. Tons of old counter top in every one my drawers and in all of the cabinets. Basically no clean up, no attempt to. In addition, they got glue in the window track and the window couldn't open. I called multiple times to have this fixed weeks apart. I did get an apology for them forgetting to come out after the first call. However, a huge mess was made getting the glue off the window seal and not cleaned up even a little bit. Rude...acted like we were inconveniencing them. Never apologized. The counters look great but customer service definitely left a sour taste."

"We have used them for a variety of projects in our home. Most recently a full bathroom remodel where it was taken down to the studs. The attention to detail in their work is impeccable and their tiling is outstanding. They show up when they say they will show up and stay on schedule. We also used them for kitchen cabinet installation as well as flooring replacement. Great to work with and reasonable pricing."

"Eddie did a spectacular job. I could not be happier with my decision to use Marble and Granite Services. Eddie came by to give the quote and made some fantastic recommendations. We changed the slab we had and could not be more happy. I wish I had know about these guys years ago. DO NOT HESITATE to call them. They were also significantly cheaper than the store installer who did lesser quality work for me previously."

"Better than I imagined. I liked that it is a family business. Sam is a hard worker and was very thorough with each area he cleaned. They were both friendly and professional, and I felt very comfortable with their presence in my home. The were very conscientious of little details like cords coming out of the walls and giving me shoe covers to use while the carpets were still damp. I was very impressed that the carpet came out looking so much better than I had anticipated."

"Mr. Young was very prompt in setting up a time to inspect my cracked grout and give me an estimate. After I accepted the estimate he back the next day and did the work. The repair took a little over one hour to perform and another 24hr for the new grout to cure."

"W hired LAR Construction & Remodeling to completely remodeling our kitchen. We spent many hours planning the design and maximizing the space of the new kitchen so it will fit to our needs ahead so that the actual remodeling part will go easily. Eli was very easygoing and open minded from the design stage and he helped us solve several problems that we had. We are very satisfied with the completed kitchen. The construction crews were polite and prompt on top of being very detail oriented. Our new kitchen is fantastic! LAR Construction & Remodeling did a great job!"

Marble Restoration questions, answered by experts

Since marble is a porous material, it is more prone to water spots than other countertop options. Fortunately, pure water doesn’t damage your marble, but if the water is acidic, it can cause stains or water spots. Resealing throughout the year can help increase marble’s water resistance, too.

Yes, onyx countertops can scratch easily—especially if they’re not adequately sealed. But with the proper maintenance (which includes re-sealing the countertops to protect them from damage), you can prevent your onyx countertops from scratching and repair any damage quickly to prevent it from worsening.

Yes, most professional repair services include the application of sealants for weatherproofing or waterproofing. This process helps protect the repaired area from moisture, weather damage, and future wear, which can improve durability and energy efficiency. It is always best to confirm with your contractor or service provider if sealing is included in their repair process.

Onyx countertops are naturally porous, absorbing liquids and staining easily without proper care. Regular sealing every 6 to 12 months is essential to keep them looking their best. Daily maintenance includes wiping up spills immediately and avoiding harsh cleaners or acidic substances that can etch the surface.

Acid can seriously damage granite countertops and lead to etching and erosion. This is why cleaning with vinegar isn’t recommended. Other acidic items that you should keep away from your granite countertops include:

  • Citrus

  • Acetone nail polish remover

  • Tomatoes

  • Ammonia

In addition, always steer clear of using bleach on or around your granite as it will degrade the countertop’s sealant quickly.
