Best home builders near Milpitas, CA

"We hired Shay to correctly vault our home’s ceilings after they were unsafely vaulted years earlier by a licensed general contractor. Shay, their construction manager, gave us a typed, 17 page contract on the SAME DAY that he came to give us an estimate (!) The contract was highly specific, with detailed scope of work, and contained many protections for the homeowner, several which we referred to during the project. Their bid wasn’t the lowest, nor was it the highest — two came in at double and triple Shay’s estimate, one at 30% less. We were inspired by Shay’s rapidly produced and detailed contract — along with the excellent references that they gave us — to go with them, and we’re very glad that we did. They started a month AHEAD of schedule, and had reasonable progress payments as the project continued. Every step of the way their work was on time and professional, and their change orders were always necessary and reasonable. They followed the architectural and structural plans in great detail, worked well with our structural engineer, and in several instances saved us from having to rip out parts of our floor and a kitchen window through their effective negotiations with the planning office. All building inspections were passed with no difficulties, and the site was cleaned up immaculately upon completion of the project."

"We had Zion, Carlos and the entire team of Brothers and Brothers just finish an entire house remodel of a tired 1955 house. My wife has a good eye and a strong spirit and we knew many of the things that we wanted. Our expertise stopped on our color scheme and layout of the house. That is where the team took our house to another level. Put the ceiling beams above the ceiling. remove the ceiling above the stairway and create 20 ft ceilings. The made our home the dream home we couldn't even imagine. Great Team, Incredible eye for detail. GREAT JOB...."

"Our kitchen remodel with McCormick Home Builders went beyond our expectations. Leoni and her team took the time to understand exactly what we wanted. The open layout design changed the way we use the space, and it’s been perfect for family gatherings. They were prompt, courteous, and genuinely invested in making sure we were happy. Really impressed!"

"We hired GVR Construction for a major home remodeling project that included adding square footage to our home, and we truly couldn?t be happier with the experience. The construction was completed on time with no delays ? in fact, it moved faster than we expected. Everything was organized, efficient, and handled with great attention to detail from start to finish. What really sets Gilbert is his character. He is honest, respectful, and extremely professional. He?s easy to work with, communicates clearly, and has a calm, steady temperament that makes the entire process feel smooth and stress-free. You can tell he genuinely cares about doing things the right way. It?s been three years since construction was completed, and he still responds quickly whenever we have a question or need something addressed. His response time is excellent, and he sends his crew out right away to take care of any issues. That kind of long-term accountability is rare and speaks volumes about his commitment."

"Greg and Brian were friendly, very knowledgeable and very hard-working. They completed my retaining wall job and even added significantly more steel than my engineer called for at no additional cost. There were no unwanted surprises. I would use them again. Good guys."

"I cannot recommend enough! Our project included a kitchen remodel, new flooring, and recessed lighting throughout the home. The final result exceeded our expectations and has made our newly purchased home more functional, as well as more comfortable. The project was completed in lightning speed (~40% faster than original quote, which was reasonable to begin with), but certainly without compromising on quality. Everything turned out beautiful!"
